This is the beginning of their careers. She can actually play and do chords and bridges. But the most important thing is they made the first step...they are finding out what it feels like being on stage in front of people.. Not easy to do..plus the amps and guitars they cost some money. My suggestion would be that she takes a guitar class and voice with the same teacher to correct where she goes flat or too sharp..but at the end of the day this band and the girl got what it takes.. Practices double the hrs they have been practicing and they will get to the promised land. The good thing about Jeri Johnson is that she plays an instrument and sings.

actually, the solo is correct and the girl has a cute voice. The only thing is that Kurt had a sloppy / lazy style of playing which you can't learn easily and if you've had any training you probably will never learn.
I thought the guitar was pretty close. It was more band-practice sloppy than Kurt live sloppy but I could almost imagine him playing like that with her guitar setup

They weren’t necessarily appreciated for their chops per se but more about their song writing, passion and originality. That’s hard to come by these days. I’m sure he would approve of every aspect of this cover. I really enjoyed it!!! Awesome job!
it was good, I would have pedal ready for the solo though. When you strum, it is much louder then the solo, so a pedal would bring up the volume so the band doesn't have to come down

The verse to this has an actual line to it, it's not just playing the lower octave root of the guitar chords. That's really the only negative I noticed.
