Poogan was NOT a stray. His family lived in the house before it was sold to the new owners. When they moved only four blocks away, he would escape and run back to his porch, which was his home. The new owners talked to Poogan's family and said he was welcome to live on the porch for as long as he wanted. He was not abandoned and he was not a stray. He just loved his porch. I'm not sure who the researchers for this episode spoke to, but everyone in Charleston knows this story, and it's not a small detail.
I went a few years ago and when I was walking up the stairs I felt something brush past me, like a small dog. Whenever we where about to leave we went to the bathroom because the staff said it has the most paranormal activity. I took a picture in the mirror because frequently you can see things through pictures. There was a small orb in the corner. And the feeling of the bathroom was very different. The air was just much heavier. And of course the whole restaurant was like this but the bathroom just felt much different. When I was walking out of the restaurant something kind of pushed at my back like it was making me move forward, wanting me to leave.
I've never had any experiences there, however, they have REALLY good food. If you are ever in Charleston, this is one of the best restaurants in the area.
I had 2 cool experiences there at Poogans. Back in 2007 a man was taking a picture of the empty staircase with a digital camera. I was behind him watching. His digital camera took a picture of a mist in the shape of a woman on the staircase. I swear on my life!
Great food...History also.🌹RIP🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹1111. Shrimp and grits are great. Dead do speak. In their own special ways to some. I'm like a magnet now. Open Conduit. ☝️🙏☝️ They like to tell me stories. In their own special ways. Never hurt me. It's the living! I pray on that to Jesus ☝️🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹1111.
