Of course, strong and irregular verbs aren't the same thing, which isn't clear in this video. Both regular and irregular verbs can be weak or strong, as you mention with the weak irregular verbs (though, a couple of those (e.g. kennen) are actually strong regular verbs).
good video but i didn't not understand the last part. warum sagte er dass man benutzt sein (waren) haben (hatten) in imperfekt könnte. i thought that it could only be used with Plusquamperfekt. ich war in Deutschland gegangen. ich hatte Fußball gespielt. In what way could that be used with the past tense of sein and haben with imperfekt? im confused. :(
