Rock was still coming out to the ring with this theme for several months in 1999 after the heel turn. The beginning of the full blown babyface Rock, was towards the end of 1999.

@beards-N-boonies Yes, at Survior Series Deadly Games the crowd was very hot for The Rock the whole night. As badass as this theme is, it works just as well for a face as it does for a heel.

@@neoswaggod It's true. ALL of The Rock's themes are ultimately different editions of 'Know Your Role'. When Rocky took over The Nation, his theme was crafted out of the Nation of Domination theme. Basic drumbeat remained (though stripped down & simplified) but the accompaniment was totally overhauled with that heavy booming low bass, thumpy rhythm guitar, scratchy electric guitar, & those subtle steel drums we come to love so much. That's the basis of all of The Rock's themes even today. The opening lyric of Rock's 1st Nation theme as "Ruler" says... "Ya Better Know Your Role...WE ARE THE NATION!" So that's the source name of all of his themes. The 2nd theme for The Nation under Rock had 3 versions for The Rock, Owen Hart, & D'Lo/Godfather/Mark. That's the theme that filled out the instrumentation giving us those synth chords, those subtle underlying electric piano chords, & the background guitar that replaced the steel drums. All of them are 'Know Your Role' but Owen's version has alternate title 'Enough Is Enough'. So ultimately you're not wrong to have an alternate subtitle like 'Do You Smell' because 'Electrifying' is also an alternate title of one of Rock's themes. But the true song is always 'Know Your Role'. Just like HHH's theme is ultimately 'Higher Brain Pattern' even if he's been using that Motorhead remix theme as 'The Game' all these years. 'My Time' & 'Our Time' are ALSO alternate titles of 'Higher Brain Pattern'. Sorry for the essay but I had to break it down (no pun intended).

That's what I'm really hoping for. This is his best theme. I also like his nation theme but this is the one I want.
They went for Hollywood Rock theme instead. I'm not gonna complain but this Theme is great as well

Full blown babyface Rock was June 1999 in my opinion. He had a great promo about the Undertaker and was pretty much full face at this point.
The night after Backlash 99 was the official face turn, but Rock had to be turned by that point.

I have been looking for this forever. Volume 3 and Volume 4 themes didn’t quite feel right. This was the one.
