Armor XYZ will be showcased on the Snake eyes Field, while Vaylantz will be on the Glacier Field. The Vaylantz Field Spells conflict with Eternal because they allow you to move a scale. So, if you do a combo after using Bansho, it's hard to place another scale to keep Eternal live. You can only use Bansho and end on Eternal with full scales if you have a "god hand" of sorts. The Field Spells didn’t come up that often when going second for me, and my opinion on them hasn’t changed. I find them unnecessary. They help against Imperm, but if you know how to play through it, why add two extra bricks just to dodge one card? You also have to remember to destroy one of the spells at the end, so it all seems like too much work for minimal payoff. But maybe I need more time to get used to them. They do help summon bricks like ragnarok, so I'll give them some credit there, but I think the worst part is that most of the time you're just playing normal D/D, and the Field Spells rarely come up. I'm enjoying Armor XYZ a lot, despite the FTK aspect of it, because it's honest, and unlike Vaylantz, there is some payoff to it. I didn’t play Eternal in this build because it's not needed. You either shut down Tenpai with Eternal or Kali. There’s no Patent and only one Swirl Slime. The single Swirl might seem odd, but some D/D builds already run one copy of it, and post-support, you might see it become standard. I ran one because the focus for this variant is to access your Level 4s, so mostly you focus on 2-card combos. There are 3-card combos in this variant using Swirl that end on Baronne, but I wanted to play a 41-card list (it used to be 40), so I passed on 3-card combos. Also, I’ve been doing the lines without Typhon, which is why you won’t see it being used in the video (I added Typhon last minute).
I remember I used to Wonder XYZ summon Kali Yuga when playing with friends, they called it The Wonder Kali and hated me for it as every time they saw a face down back row card and 2 lvl 8 monsters they knew it was comming
Finally I can relate to that last duel, only difference I would have lost but still, great video. Have you considered uploading some matches that you've lost and give some explanation on how it was supposed to be played to win?
that's an idea i had for a while so i might use it at some point. i had good replays where i lost that i wanted to include before but i didn't know how to go about it.
For 5:56 it's a better use of resources to activate Ragnarok here and summon Caesar so you can send king tell with swamp king instead of wasting another Gilgamesh and banishing Orthros.
i noted almost every match won against mathmech is because they aren't able to leave a full board when they go 1st, how do you deal with a full combo mathmech board?
i broken full mathmech boards before (i shown it in past videos) it's really hard to do so with any deck but usually if i have called by and imperm, i can do it (imperm on the firewall link 5 when they go for it and called by diameter) also the duel shown in this video is me bricking going first then stopping him from seting up. the gameplay overall is to not let them setup as much as you can.
Honestly, I don't blame you for forgetting the GY effects of the Dinomorphia cards. I guess the better way to deal with them was with Zero King Rage, right?
I have a few questions about the Kali Yuga deck. I took it with me last locals an few things came to my mind. 1. Why not cutting lamia. I usually don’t really use her and for the Siegried play you use mostly Orlean. Thats would also make it 40 cards 2. I want to try Boardbraker with Kali Yuga variant, because either you go first and build a good board, either the lock or the usual lines with Caesar and Machinex and many other cards. So i thought why not use Boardbrakers so u can destroy the established board an do good damage with Machinex, Gilgamesh, and even Caeser so you can go for game. But im not sure because i played with handtraps for a long time and they came many times in clutch. So im asking you as D/D/D pro those two questions and your opinion about them.
My original decklist had 40 cards. I kept Lamia because, in combos, you need a third body on the field. So, if you open Coper & Gryphon, you can send Lamia, which gives you 3 bodies to access Cross-Sheep and Caesar. Lamia acts as an extender in this variant, but not for synchro summoning purposes. Lamia is needed for the gate one-card combo. Since you're not always FTKing, I didn't want to cut other lines. For example, the Kepler one-card combo isn’t doable with my list because there's only one Machinex. You could side Breakers in any D/D variant you play, but from experience, I don't find maining them to be effective
@@Taro_EST I didnt saw Lamia in that kind of lights. Also i kept 2 Machinex and are siding Zeus in for 2nd game so i dont really have that problem. About the boardbreakers thank you for your opinion and i will deeply respect that. I maybe trying it but only because of the new format in the TCG with Maliss and Ryzeal

Finally...
Kaliyuga in DDD
We're in the right timeline
Those kali yuga plays were so good. Made me realise how absurdly strong he really is outside of his summon effect. Insane boss monster for D/D/D.
Hey, you’re not supposed to summon Kali Yuga! That’s a Raidraptor/Blackwing boss monster 👿
the founder of this company has to pay a visit to his minions sometimes!
@@Taro_EST we are grateful to BORROW one of your minions. he was a Very good at helping our cause🦅
Nah, it's PK boss monster Lmao.
He's a freelancer
Beautiful play and editing again! Great work!
Kali Yuga has other effects than just locking you out entirely? Never knew that, but in all seriousness good stuff Taro. Always a pleasure to watch.
Hearing Reiji say Kali Yuga is music to my ears
I love your content. You have a big brain for some of this plays.
Great stuff keep it up
Yooo that was pure fire i liked every match even the Kali Yuga's play.
Keep cooking brother
YES DUDE!! I've been waiting for this!
Lmao, Devil Jin's Snow Castle OST. You are just great, got no other words for that.
Love it, hope you can upload a new pure version video
just one video and U impress me ~~ !!! 2nd combo subscribed !!!
funny how in the first duel you hard drew the scales xd. cool video!
the first game was like uh, deym imperm Gilgamesh but you already have Cerb and Rage in hand 😂
the ethical kali yuga!!!...
I remember I used to Wonder XYZ summon Kali Yuga when playing with friends, they called it The Wonder Kali and hated me for it as every time they saw a face down back row card and 2 lvl 8 monsters they knew it was comming
@@Oz_RagnarokI used to summon it in Superquantals with a trap as well. Back when I was on Percy for android

I hope md releases a ritual monster for D/D/D because that would be interesting
Amazing video by the way
Yeah i love you so much
Nice
D/D/D when they actually use kali yuga than other archetype
I added dragoon to this deck it works. Your deck as a lot of different combo lines depends on the hand right?
yes
For 5:56 it's a better use of resources to activate Ragnarok here and summon Caesar so you can send king tell with swamp king instead of wasting another Gilgamesh and banishing Orthros.
my original play was to use orthros to destroy tell and konig but as you would think, i messed up while playing during that.
i noted almost every match won against mathmech is because they aren't able to leave a full board when they go 1st, how do you deal with a full combo mathmech board?

yes but i should have actually checked his grave more often.

D/D/D armored fiendsmith ?
i'll try it when fiendsmith drops in md
