I've never gotten into these guys. I just was never a fan of death metal. I needed music that could convey my distain for yuppies, 'Christian' conservatives, and Ronald effin Reagan! And something I could skateboard to. Love way of saying, I was into punk, especially ska-punk because of their anti-racist themes. Operation Ivy 'Unity' Only released one album before breaking up. Two of the members would start Rancid, who had commercial success. Suicide Machines 'S.O.S.' My absolute favorite! Amazingly, not from California, but from Detroit! Unfortunately, these bands were too old and too broke to make any videos. Anyway, punk's actually NOT dead. It just moved to Japan! Otoboke Beaver 'Don't Light My Fire' You can just tell by the name of the group and the title of the song, that they're legit!😂🤘✌️
@jaedo6180 nice. I understand completely. A blast from the past was my reaction, not saying I don't like them anymore. The series comprises the OGs that were at the front of the movement. Greetings, and thanks for watching.
@@TheReactionsDadandSon yeah man, not my thing, but appreciate the series. One, because it's old skool and two, there is no video! So many good songs that have no music video. My roommate told me his sister is managing Testament now. That's crazy that they're still going. And they sound good too! I think it's two original members, but still. They're from the early 80s thrash metal scene. They must be like 60s years old! Nice!
Was listening to them today. I love Death metal. especially the Madness of old school death metal.
@@micahatticus4257 it is a treasure
Saw them open for slayer and pantera in 2001 at san diego spirts arena. Was 15 or 16

@jaedo6180 yep, they've never had a bad album. They should be in the big 4 as 5. No question
