Ironically enough, I only know the music because of the community suggestions. I have never really watched any of the creators, although they are wonderful I am sure XD
Saying this as an expression of my thought on this, and not meant to be offensive in any way Considering the vibe and context of the original song, I believe it was very somber and melancholic, and that for me is just doesn't suit the vibe of this pop punk remix, which is a lot more energetic and uplifting. And that in of itself is by all means not bad, just thinking maybe it could be done better with the consideration of the original context and melody Anyway, keep coming in with the banger
Can't agree, ironically specifically because of the context on what pop punk *is*, and what it often represents. "Mumei"'s message is super in line thematically and conceptually with the emotive space expressed in the pop punk genre, it's just a different encapsulation of those things. It's definitely not just "higher energy for the sake of it".
I'm agree with what your opinion is. But music can also turn to something else..like u said.. This version lead towards more happy vibe and uplifting. Maybe Turbo did this pop punk remix to just make it opposite vibe that's it😊
is that not kind of natural for pop punk though? how many of the classic songs have extremely melodramatic and sad lyrics and still have the energetic instrumentation?
I can't wait to see what Turbo makes next! :D
we mooming 🔥🔥🔥
we moomin at 1.5x speed
This one bangs for sure, and 100% second the guy in chat recommending Turbo's pop punk Gravity, it is excellent.
Turbo's Eurobeat covers of Irys songs are amazing, too, for anyone who hasn't heard them.
Irys song are good but turbo makes them better fr
I gotta check that one out! :D
Where can i see that one?
At this point he's fallin so hard into the hololive rabbithole that he should interview someone from them like bijou that would be peak content xD

The remix is actually unironically better than the original.
