I used to play a long ways back, been trying to set up a Support bard but all the guides are super old and I heard speed was nerfed... Not sure how I should set up my stats, should I aim for max speed still? What recommendations would you have for a fairly green character, I'm running Bard/Sorc at the moment. Always cap speed. Your skill cool downs and tics on heal-over-time/damage-over-time are based on speed, plus overcapping bonus as mentioned in the speed section here applies on any extra speed. When you're in late game dungeons your stats will be debuffed, so maybe when you heard speed was nerfed what they meant was that you have to deal with those high debuffs. Honestly I wouldn't recommend aiming for a support bard anyway, especially if you're green. Aura Kingdom doesn't get called DPS kingdom for nothing.
ty for the vid i just started playing today! if i could ask for anything it would be maybe an inventory guide in terms of bag optimization/cleaning up stuff and what are some things u should always have on hand. maybe other than that an updated guide for maybe a spenders guide for both low/mid/high spenders? i probably wont be dropping a dime until i understand the game a bit more in the next 2-4 weeks but i also dont mind spending money on f2p games if the returns are nice and its something that doesn't feel outright scummy.
Spenders guide might be challenging for me as I don't spend often so I can't get into a mindset. (Someone made a donation recently, and asked me to roll a certain paid event, which was the only time I have spent in the last 2 years) for inventory, personally I just the autosort. You probably only have one page right now, but in the future, note that Alt+clicking autosort will sort out all your pages, and I think that just learning how autosort puts stuff is the easy way to manage. If you want more backpacks, you can get them in the LP store or buy off other players.
@@JMMidday by inventory optimization i meant less so in terms of sorting stuff and moreso leaning torwards what i mentioned on the latter part of my request. stuff like what items you should almost always have on hand in your inventory, how to indentify misc stuff as a new player that you should instantly sell/trash or better to put into storage to save for when you get to higher level such as certain crafting materials, things like that

You probably wanna keep any food or buff items on hand, and stow away everything else you can while your inventory is small, selling off anything unnecessary (ie, extra unneeded gear drops) to merchants so you don't run out of space. However, eventually your inventory will be *much* larger than your storage and things like mats you're collecting for gear crafting and food production supplies will fit in your inventory much more easily than your storage, even with all the tabs But the way you asked the question has given me a good idea for the kind of info that new players may not know and experienced ones like me forget is worth explaining. I'm putting together a list of tricks/tips/secrets for new players as well, and I've added the quirks of storage to the list of things I should cover.
@@JMMidday awesome, hopefully also maybe in the list you can put something like the fastest way for a new player to aquire a 120% MOV SPD mount(or at least even a 90%) since the ostrich is pretty oof since literally even gliding is faster than it and takes quite a chunk of game time to get the slightly upgraded version that still isn't a ton faster. I was lucky to get into a guild that was nice enough to buy me the mounts needed to fuse into a 120% spd mount but i have no idea how someone doing it by themselves would aquire it. especially once i make an alt character that wont be part of that guild
Bard is completely viable as a DPS class. Your attack skills buff your heals, and your heals buff your attack skills. If you're around 90 you wanna stick with the same DPS style build as the other classes- for armor you can do top Magic sundering and bot Holy spirit or magic sundering. You can probably skip trying to get nocturnal (lifesteal) and just do double dps cores if you're crafting weapons, the wild howl accessory set, and your elemental trophy of choice
Everything. You want cap everything if you're going into PVP. Realistically, only end game players engage in it, so you're going to be facing off against the cream of the crop.
Hmhm, my personal envoy path as a dark bow isn't optimal for most players as I took one of the guard sub combo skills which I strongly advise against (I took it because I think its fun, but it comes at the cost of dimensional shot nodes). I'm at work so I can't pull up the envoy sim right now, but I'll edit or reply again later with a good dark ranger envoy for bard sub.
Ok here's a good envoy for any sub. It has one free spot you can use for inherent purity (cooldown reduction on arrow of light, not necessary on dark ranger), or take another dmg node. I do not wish to risk my pc...
Hm, thats odd. I haven't had or heard of that issue at all. The only reported issue I hear about the website from players most of the time is that the website uses some pop ups for logging in verification that wont work if you block all pop ups. yes and yes. Healing crits are a thing, but even if they weren't you would still want crit rate for being able to get through solo content (ie, awakening). And yes, its -30% crit dmg taken. Sometimes the english TL can be vague, but I confirmed the original text from TW server. I'm not aware of any gear that includes negative effects

I'd say yes, there's a lot of goods and supplies handed out to new players that is really helpful, and they've adjusted the exp curves to help you get to mid/end game faster, and I think its fun to play. But I'd recommend you listen to a few sections of my Starting AK in 2024 video because I talk about the monetisation and stuff there.
Its a lot up front, but it adds up gradually in game. I'd say just jump in, and when you're starting to struggle you can come back here and see which stats you're lacking
not gonna lie, not a lot of players are interested in PVP as a few top geared players can completely control the field- which basically means anyone who does do PVP is guaranteed to get extra rewards every week. There are two modes that do not require gear though.
