Old Car City in White, Georgia contains the worlds largest known classic car junkyard. Visitors enjoy the beautiful vegetation of the deep south that is intertwined with the hundreds of cars that reside in Old Car City. Old Car City started as a small general store in 1931 and is still family owned and operated. Come enjoy the Old South environment, folk art, ghosts of beautiful classic cars, and much more! With over 34 acres and over 4000 American-made cars from the early 20th Century, these cars, trucks, vans, and even a couple school buses are placed in such a way as to be ideally suited for photos, videos and custom camera shoots. Over the 8 decades since first started, thousands of photographers, videographers, ad agencies and media companies have visited Old Car City USA. Popular news magazine and newspaper companies, like CBS Sunday Morning, the New York Times, the BBC and Georgia Public Television, have made press releases and/or video segments and transmitted it worldwide. Mayor of Old Car City USA, Dean Lewis, welcomes all who come out to visit his varied collection of automobile art with a little help from Mother Nature. Among the many cars at Old Car City USA, there is the last car Elvis Presley ever bought back in 1977 just a couple months before he died. Also, a movie starring Andy Griffith and Johnny Cash used one of the cars that now call this place "home." The honorary mayor of the "City," Dean Lewis, is also an artist in his own rite with some of the most unique canvas...the styrofoam cup. In his upstairs loft, Lewis has hundreds of styrofoam canvases featuring his artistic talents on display along with some paintings he will proudly show off.

Back in the day when people parked old cars all over the place ,no one thought they would rescued at least for parts. I myself never came across old cars in fields that much. I always thought of cars taken to scrap yards.

Old junkyards are magical, I spent many hours in one near my grandfathers house. There were firetrucks and many really old cars, I loved it.
Damni seen an old 70 Chevelle. 72 Cheverly. And some other great vehicles.

I was raised on a small 160 acre farm with approximately 300 old cars ,trucks, tractor and farm equipment so i love going through them I miss having that around me you wouldn't believe how many friends I had then and when the cars and trucks ,etc. was gone so was them friends... 😒 hmmm??? go figure 🤔

Robbie is at a great age of boyhood and exploring the whole world for the first time. It would be fun to be a kid with him and see all that stuff. As a kid I got to hang out in some great old junkyards, sat in the cars and tried to imagine who had been there before. Where did they go and where are they now. Great fuel for the imagination. Have fun Robbie. Keep Exploring!

Amazing place. Thumbs up to whoever put this together, not worried about being sued over someone getting hurt. Looks like they was thought into that. I shuttle children in and out of a Outdoor Learning Center. It's amazing how many children have not ever been into the woods. This child has caught on to Adventure and probably the the world of the automobile. And nature. Thumbs up Mom great video photography.

Power glide is a transmission, it’s in the ol cars and truck all the way up into the 70 s two speed transmission, nice the one n the older cars are cast iron , 500 pounds , the newer ones ar3 93 pounds or so, nice thanks don’t quote me on the pounds , ok praise Jesus grace Christ amen, BigAl California.

It's a junkyard and most of them were wrecked.
I don't like to see all those beautiful cars converted in awful trash.

They are mental cases here valuable much needed parts and cars rotting away not for sale
