Please check out the other three videos that jay and I have done on his garage show twin 1937 Rolls Royce speedsters,1921 American La France firetruck and La Bestioni #3 the yellow beast. My thanks to Jay and the crew at his garage for letting me show off some of my creations.
Nice to see the creator of this masterpiece, passionate enough to comment us to go see his other works of art...Wish there were more folks like you around Gary...
I have seen one of your cars up close, and they really are something to behold. I sure am glad that there are ones such as you that can create such rolling sculpture.
+Catfish moto He might not want to do a full show, he may just want to build only and have his stuff on others show. However, I do agree, this is guy is awesome.
I find it amazing that two guys completed this project in just one year. I've wasted a year putting in a new front end on one of my projects. The scale of a project like this is enormous.
Yea, the owner is definitely a good partner to show a car, Jay! He is a blend of tech, fun, creative words and presentation; what a guy. Have him on the "show and tell" more often.
I love it when Gary brings these amazing creations to Jays. and Jay just does a wonderful job of keeping this channel alive and exciting and humorous thank you Jay!!!!
What an astounding vehicle! It's like a rolling exhibit of ultra high craftsmanship in so many contexts. So elegant and the sound of that engine is phenomenal. This and the Eco-Jet are 2 of the most unique vehicles I have ever seen. Thanks Jay and Gary!
Well, I've been watching dozens of episodes the last week all 30's and earlier and by far this is may FAV!!! I'll take a repo and not complain! Absolutely, Beautiful! Love the color scheme!
That is truly awesome! To see the state the vehicle was in when found, and the absolutely gorgeous final result of this man's talent is fantastic. I want to see the previous five works he's done now!
Gary Whales is a total character! And talk about a master craftsman... They don't make men like him any more. "We're a couple of lucky guys, Jay." And we're lucky to be able to share your stories and automobiles.
What an awesome machine. And a funny guy too. The only thing I would have done differently is swap the rear fenders from side to side to mimic the fronts, but that's just me. Gary deserves a High Five!!
+Bruce Gorney : Absolutely. It looks wrong somehow. Like they put on the ones in the front, turned the car in their garage and put on the ones in the back without noticing, that they're working on the rear of the car.
The skill of 'old style' eccentric engineers is irreplaceable. Almost every day, I see those who mimic the days gone by, yet they have no true understanding of what it was like to cast, forge, fit & machine raw materials the way it was done from the late 1800's to the mid 1900's. Hopefully, there are still some that will keep those skills alive & share them with our great-great grandchildren. GAZZA (Melbourne/Australia)
I watch many of Jay's videos & all I imagine a rock is going to hit Jay in the eye one of these days and he's going to regret it, the man needs some good driving goggles or sunglasses... BTW the Bestioni is awesome!
Some look at a glass and see it half full... Others see it as half empty... And a very few drink the sucker down and pour a new one! Gary is such a guy. What an amazing car!

You are truly an artist! Thanks for sharing your creations with the world!

I have seen one of your cars up close, and they really are something to behold. I sure am glad that there are ones such as you that can create such rolling sculpture.
Beautiful! The OLD stuff is WAY more interesting than the new!
+cigarobsession I am sure they can say that about the horse vs the car
+1
+cigarobsession Of course it is. Old stuff was created by engineers and artists, not accountants and pseudo ecologists.
+Omnius Prime yes, yes indeed.
+cigarobsession Strange comment ,it's not old for the most part it's new,was never built that way just a mix of old parts.

+Catfish moto Hahaha, agreed! They are sort of in eachother's way in this video, the guy is worth a show :)
+Catfish moto He might not want to do a full show, he may just want to build only and have his stuff on others show. However, I do agree, this is guy is awesome.
3:15 it cracked me up when Jay said, you must be good at something.

I love these videos. You're one of the only people on TH-cam who shows pre war cars. Thank you and please keep it up for years to come!
+Don Krypton That's exactly what I thought Don. A bad hiccup on a pretty cool ride.

Beautiful car. Great episode, Jay. I love these!
That thumping engine sounds great with sub woofer, like an old aircraft. Please can we have some more steam car stuff again soon?
+LauriShowler If I had Jay's money, I would get a big frame like that and do a Steampunk version. All those gauges would actually work- and need to!
+Mark Stockman they all do work on occasion
I watch many of Jay's videos & all I imagine a rock is going to hit Jay in the eye one of these days and he's going to regret it, the man needs some good driving goggles or sunglasses...
