The first season of Umbrella Academy is something of a slow burn that just keeps building and building and it totally worth it in the end if you stick with it. The second season is even better IMO because the characters are already established and can be developed even further.
The actor who plays Klaus is Robert Sheehan. And one of his popular things is misfits, cherrybomb, the road within
and mortal instruments the movie.
I love this show, its amazing and i can't wait for your season 2 reaction😚
These are their powers,
1. *Luther* -Super strength,durability
2. *Diego* -Trajectory manipulation(he can manipulate object's direction and acceleration in midair)
3. *Allison* -she can rumor anyone to do anything by prefacing 'i heard a rumor...'(her power is a mix of mind control and reality manipulation)
4. *Klaus* -can talk to the dead,see them and manipulate them but only if he is sober
5. *Num 5* -space and time manipulation
6. *Ben* - he can manifest monsters from alternate reality through his stomach
7. *Vanya* - third chair violinist

Also Diego has the ability to hold his breath/breathe under water. He showed in season 2 elevator scene when Luthur farted and he laughed. Because he couldn’t smell it.
Diego can also hold his breath indefinitely underwater, thus his name 'Kraken'

I love how much you notice and appreciate the little details of this show! Like the sandwich! The show does so many little things like that, it's great! One I didn't notice but someone else pointed out which I adore is you can tell how high Klaus is and it's affect on his powers based on Ben. In this episode Klaus is high and Ben has both his hoods up, doesn't speak, only nods and has his eyes closed most of the scene. When we next see him Klaus has just woken up and so is more sober and Ben only has one hood up and can speak to Klaus. When Klaus is sober he has both hoods down, can speak to Klaus and, as we see, can interact physically with him as well. It's so simple but so clever at the same time.
This show really hits you in the feels with the infamous dance scene, but I think it's so stunningly shot and using great actors to bring to life these very different brothers and sisters. And that's really the magnetism the show exudes. That hint of mystery in a story about family. The parents that raised em hard or the sister that told the family secrets...it's really about the forgiveness we show for our fam. And that's a beautiful thing about humanity, the intricate ways we form our families 👪 ❤️

This is based off a comic written by Gerard Way of My Chemical Romance. I got to go to a special premiere at the Arclight Cinema in Hollywood and got to see the first 2 episodes on the big screen. Was so amazing that I wish I could've watched the whole season like that!

I mean I don't like them either and I've had friends who didn't either. For most I think it's because you can see the veins a lot more clearly and it's makes me and others uncomfortable to think about blood etc.

I hope you keep reacting to it! don't give our boy Diego such a hard time tho, I know he can seem as a jackass at first but they all had a very traumatic childhood and his way of coping with it is lashing out at his father and everyone who tries who justify his actions (aka Luther) and there's also an explanation to him being so mad with vanya over the book thing. Honestly all 7 personalities of this siblings are so different and deal with their emotions so differently is really interesting to see❤

First time I watched it, I thought klaus was the guy that played jasper in the 100 (also rodrick in the diary of a wimpy kid). The characters looked similar

THE UMBRELLA ACADEMY is quirky in a good way. Not your run of the mill super hero series. a nice break from being bombarded by the other constant super hero stuff.
