He's a genuine allrounder in Windies domestic cricket with 3 or 4 centuries, several 50s in domestic 50 overs format.
He also has several matchwinning 40s & 4 fifties as an opener or at no#3 in Cpl T20.
But Windies management are wasting him by sending him at no#10 and not properly utilising his potential with the bat.
His commitment to the game is second to none. Kudos to Westindies board for backing him despite his physical size.

Don't forget WI were playing with their B team many are inexperienced. On the other hand Bangla team were playing on their home soil with all key players. Bonner is 32, mayers is 28, moseley is 26 - none of the debutants as you can see are young. They are simply just second rate domestic players. Da Silva is probably the only young player who got in because of the absence of regular team.

I am very happy with this series win. Especially considering that we were the underdogs. Honestly, I think that it is high time that we make total use of the technology. We have it, so just use it. The DRS is designed to give give the umpire the ability to be bias. He can manipulate a team's reviews. Far too often we see batsman who were out, still scoring runs. Bowlers should not be punished for umpires mistakes or incompetence. Give the third umpire full atonamy, without regards to the on-field umpires decision. After all, that's the reason for the decision being sent to him in the first place. Better yet, allow the 3rd umpire to review and turn over decisions without being asked. I am quite sure that a bowler would not mind bowling an extra ball or two, because he got a wicket with a previous delivery. We spend so much time trying to decide whether or not it was a boundary or not. Why not for a wicket. As it is now, umpires can and are still controlling the outcome of the game. That needs to be stopped.

Cornwall is my new favourite cricketer. Would love to see him in the IPL.
He is actually a better opening batsman than Narine in domestic T20 with same SR as Narine but higher avg than Narine.
No doubts about his all-round talent but problem will be whether he can pass the yoyo fitness test as all ipl teams set high standards for passing fitness test.
He's a great catcher in the cordon but let's face it, you wouldn't be able to hide him in the field in the IPL.

@@kurumi9714 Bro Narine has been a very unfortunate guy. Firstly he was a mystery spinner, a complete bowler taking lots of test, odi and t20i wickets but then his action was proved illegal by some very very small angles. Now he had to convert himself to a batsman.
@@sayakmandal3240 he wasn't devastating in Test cricket. He played just 6 Test matches and averaged a mediocre 40 avg in that format.
That's the problem with mystery bowlers in Test cricket.
They will have 1-2 good matches at the start of their career then become completely harmless when batsman sort out their tricks.
I remember him being thrashed by England batsman in a test match in Eng. He became even more useless as a bowler once the doosra delivery was banned.
This is why conventional spinners with proper spinner's skill-set like Lyon, Ashwin, Swann, Yasir, Herath etc are more successful in Test cricket than Narine & Mendis who were both mystery spinners.
I'm 100% sure Cornwall will probably be West Indies no#1 Test spinner for the next 5 yrs if he stays fit as he has the right attributes in his bowling for Test matches.

To be honest, I was asking myself how are you going to have a "Big Man" fielding in the slips? He should be too slow right? Mr Cornwall made me shut up and have to say respect to the big man. Great bowling and fielding, that last catch is one of those that if you have ever fielded in "the slips" then you know.
Growing up playing street cricket we would fight to play in the slips so I can respect the Big Man reflexes. Give him a roots tonic drink endorsement deal

@Manas Ralli I am only deriding BCCI's attitude. If this fitness test was a mandatory in cricket few decades ago, then there wouldn't be Ranatunga, David Boon, Mike Gatting, Merv Hughes, Inzaman and so on .who were all exceptional cricketers.

Excellent win by the west indies! Even though I did not watch the match live I will make comments based on what I've seen in highlights. I strongly believe that Kraigg Brathwaite should be selected as captain and should be given the job permanently. Reason being is that he was very proactive for most of the game, he did not wait for things to happen he made it happen and he did not portray this because he has won this series.
In my opinion, he sets better fields, makes better bowling changes and looks a lot more fluent in his batting. This series win is only a highlight of the fantastic job done, unlike his fellow Barbadian; Jason Holder, he is not selfish and makes countless excuses after failing. Even though Holder is a good cricketer, and has done reasonably well in recent times, that still does not make him a great captain because a great captain does not only portray great plays or only has player-based success.
Though Kraigg was heavily supported by the likes of Bonner, Mayers and a few others, I believe that with him thinking or having the mindset of a Captain made the difference. (If it was Jason Holder with this same team WI would have lost heavily).
