    You can the zoom as a boom mic

      are you asking about the zoom H1n and using that as a boom mic?

    I can't remember if the four has a sub output which would be 3.5 this is also another way of coming out. There might be an output level mismatch but that doesn't seem to be too much of an issue I know for the later models it's selectable in the settings.

      Yes you are right about the sub. But I wanted to use the two main out in this example.

      Thanks. I got them from ebay but I don't see those anymore. I would like to get some back-up knobs but can't find them.
