I am forever in love with this Ivysaur, she is gorgeous! This is what I wish they made a difference in gender for this evolution line, the females have an open rose flower! I love how you used soft tone and cool colors to bring the mood of this piece together. I also think its cool how you added the parasect and foongus in the background, definitely giving it more of a forest feel.
This Rose ivysaur is very beautiful and some what mythical! I think the next time you do a speed paint I think you should do both ahola and normal Vulpix playing in the snow or something

I learned basics of digital painting in school but felt it didn't help me much, but then I looked at artists who paint that I like and found out from there what style of painting I'd like to do/what felt most natural. I most often paint in outlines, I just happened to not do it on this one. Speedpaints help a lot I think because you can see the progress and how the artist builds their artwork - streams are great as well, you could ask questions at the same time :) So idk, find the style you want to do and do small paints, and work out how you feel like painting? Haha I'm bad at advice, hope it helps somewhat

I can't remember exactly but for this one I think I used a mix of "Watercolor 1", "Gouche a Go Go" and "Oil Color Jitter". Rough Inker for the sketch.
