Samee I don’t lay my baby hairs and my hair type is 4 so it’s very noticeable cause my baby hairs are super curly but tbh I’m not tryna get acne and it doesn’t even last cause I have practice every day so oh whale🤷♀️
About the banana chunks when doing the DIY hair mask you have to put it in a blender and make sure it is completely blended my favorite one to do is banana avocado and yogurt or one egg and you have to blend it until it looks like baby food and only then will it be able to wash out of your hair and do not use hot water when washing out egg I speak from experience use lukewarm water
A lot of these actually make sense! Some curlies swear by dry detangling with damp hair and conditioner because they say it breaks your hair less than wet detangling. Hair is in its weakest state when wet. Daily moisturising is also unnecessary if you moisturise well on wash day, and some folks say it can break your hair because of the constant manipulation. Imagine taking your hair out of a bun, moisturising, sealing then re-bunning/re-pineappling/re-braiding every day (which I used to do and no, it didn't grow more than it does now). DC, satin pillowcases, scalp massage, protective styling, no heat and possibly hair vitamins work for me, not any of the other hair rules.
Do a giveaway!!! You can give away edge control, your favorite curly hair products, hair growth oil, microfiber towel. Basically the curly hair essentials
Haha I use eggs every other wash. I just love how soft it makes my hair & the length I’ve gotten from it is INSANE! I do make a point to use cooler water while washing it out tho - but have definitely forgotten n never had a problem. No cooked egg head for me! Lol I think the egg is honestly the only way we differ so far. It’s fun to see someone else who has stunning hair doing the same routines n hair cares as I do. Your curls are much bigger than mine n I just adore them! Happy weekend Bella 💗💜
Imma have to disagree with the banana/avocado masks, sis! The trick is to blend them/send them through a food processor and then STRAIN them in a sieve or colander or something of the like. And do it multiple times until you have a truly smooth consistency. I'll still stay FAR away from that egg, tho! And I do actually pre-poo! Only before a shampoo session (never for cowashes, lol). I find that it's during a pre-poo where I get a lot of my shed hairs out and inadvertently detangle my hair! Love your videos!
I definitely only style my hair when I'm going out so when I'm sitting at home, I don't moisturize daily. Lately I have been wearing cornrows when I don't go out. Seems a little better than dry curls.
Sometimes I detangle my hair when it’s dry but I’m super careful. I do blow dry my hair before I straighten because it is less heat but also because it gives my hair more volume at the roots. If I just straighten it my hair looks flat which I’m not a fan of. Sometimes I’ll blow it out and not even use the straightener at all, just a nice blow out. I agree microfiber towels are better than t shirts. I braid my hair before going swimming because if not I get so many tangles. I just do one French braid because my hair gets so heavy in a pony tail or a bun. Plus I’m normally so hot at the beach I braid it before I even get there because I don’t want it on my sweaty body.
I also use the microfiber towel, have never used a t-shirt. For me blowdrying my hair before flat ironing just makes it easier. A good blow-dry with a vent brush straightens it out so well I don't even have to chase it with a comb, then the flat iron passes right over. Have you ever tried a wet dry flat iron? That really makes it straight and dries it in one go. Mayonaise has egg in it. Maybe you should come out with a line of satin lined hats ... At 100 k subscribers, you should come to NYC.
Lol I definitely understand breaking the beach/swimming rule. I get tired just thinking about doing all that to your hair before I get in the water. Plus I love having my hair down in the water, I don't wanna wear a bonnet or anything - although yes my hair probably does hate that. I don't wanna spend a entire vacation worried about my hair. Although I was thinking about following what Alba said and putting like some Coconut oil or sunscreen or something (have to rewatch the video to remember exactly what it was) to help protect it but otherwise lol I'm just going in.
You should celebrate 100,000 subs by trying ten really elaborate straight hairstyles and try them on curly hair. There are a lot of styles that look hard to do with curls
Hahaha so true sis, ain't nobody got time for daily moisturizing!! And I agree about the food hair masks: banana and egg are a nightmare to wash out!! Avocado isn't as bad but I can't bear to put it in my hair instead of eating it 😅😅😅
i have a lot of hair and it’s curly but the back has the most hair so the bottom is weighed down and doesn’t curl as much. How can make sure that all my hair evenly dries??
Thought it was I really don't follow is when I go swimming I don't braid my hair either I might put it in a bun or ponytail but I make sure I put conditioner in before and I'm thinking of trying to diy masks but I think I'll blend it in a blender beforehand no never detangle your hair dry always wet in the shower always detangle wet i always blow dry and then flat iron you'll do less passes in your hair with a flat iron I do lay my baby hairs down with gel but only when I first do my wash and go or doing a bun and no I never moisturize my hair everyday I mean who does that. I moisturize hair every 2 or 3 days when it's dry when I feel like it's dry or moisturize it but other than that I don't. Like you said you have to do what works for your hair what works for One person might not work for the other person and I don't use a fine tooth comb at all I had one I don't know where it went off to but anyway I love the video.
international giveaway??? its SOO hard to find SLS-free, silicone-free hair products in Cyprus and my only option is ordering online but the shipping is almost double the price and its frustrating. I miss living in the UK just for the hair products :(
I think you should do a giveaway for the 100k milestone Bc I feel more people can participate in it. But if you do a meetup in the UK or if you come to the US not everyone can be able to go you know? Lol whatever is easier for you I guess :)

I never got the cotton t-shirt thing. If I shouldn't sleep on a cotton pillowcase, then why would I dry my hair with cotton material?

Can you do a curly hair tutorial start to finish PLEASE?? And air dry or diffuse? 😭

I don’t moisturize my hair if I’m staying home either. But it’s mostly dependent on how dry my hair gets.

Same, I don’t bother laying my baby hairs, because my skin is sensitive plus if I’m wearing makeup the toothbrush will ruin my foundation 😅
You look so pretty with dark hair. I can’t imagine straightening my hair without blow drying but then again I’ve never tried it lol❤️
You should do a giveaway of hair products or anything hair related
marisa rodriguez you are really smart what a great idea
