Thanks man. I will keep posting for sure. Check out Part 2 of the same video if you still get the check engine light after EGR cleaning. th-cam.com/video/SUekdL8BfCc/w-d-xo.html
The cost depends on the country and city where you get it fixed. It’s not a time consuming job but anyways it depends on which place you are right now . A local mechanic would give you the correct estimate. Let me know the country so I can give you rough estimate.
@@TheOnlyRaceEngineer Thanks for the reply . Not sure are you are even in Australia Im in Brisbane bro. I think my set up is a little different on the 2010 model. My engine light is not on but at operation temp the idle is down near 200 and getting really rough at stand still. I think if it was auto it would stall. It drives fine. Ive had it a 2 mechanics but they charge me 100 bucks to clean the throttle body and tell me its fine and to drive it with the aircon on. Its not fine and only time before it stalls. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you mate
The PCV valve is clean and makes a rattle noise like i believe it should so is the MAFS clean, not sure about that tiny hole you pointed out tho could that be a possible issue
Well if you get it the complete egr cleaned and put back in, it should take about an hour and the mechanic could cost you $50 in Brisbane. But if only the tiny vacuum port needs to be cleaned, it only requires cleaning with a brake cleaner and it should not cost much at all.
hey bro..! i have a doubt...how is the reset prossedure to the ecm before the cleaning..i make it all but my car have a high idle now..thank you for a fast request..🙏
The correct way would be to reset the ECU using a proper scan tool. However another way is to remove one of the battery terminals, and then try to start the car with the key. Of course the car won't start, but all the current in the system will flush out and allow the ECU to recalibrate. then, plug back the terminal of the battery and start the car. It's normal for the car to have high idle at the beginning or even 1-2 days. After that the car will itself correct its idle rpms. I hope it helps you. By the way I am also going to post the part 2 of this video where I will share the real solution that really fixed my P0400 engine code. Stay tuned.
thank you my friend it was been so usefull to me.. I'm from Venezuela and here is difficult find someone with a good scanner.. but I will try..! thank you so much again 🙏👍

Check out my part 2 before going to the mechanic . It’s a very simple fix which actually fixed my issue with the EGR.
