a Coromon that I grew to love but didnt make it onto your list is Octotle. That thing has such a cool and misterious design and on top of that it also is super fast and hits hard. Its ability motivated also makes it a great revengekiller. Also its potent and perfect form both look astonishingly good!
Seraphace is an awesome Coromon because of its design concept. A Seraph is an angel from Christian religion. Not only that, its design is far more accurate to what the original angels would have been depicted as in the Bible itself: more of a mess of shapes and ideas, rather than humanoids in robes. Seraphace works because it's so closely reminiscent of actual angels. It's perfect form being gold helps add that grandeur that an angel would have had, being god's chosen warriors. Love the video. You helped me get into Coromon, and I can't thank you enough. Just started a playthrough where I can only use stolen Coromon, thanks to an option in the difficulty settings. You should try it, it's a very fun idea. Also, my favourites would be: Grimmask Megalobite Skelatops Milidont Malavite And Dark magic Milidont
my favorite Coromon is Glamoth, because of its Antarctic trait. getting to set up Snow is amazing, because it gets a 50% boost in Speed and you have 5% chance to freeze non-Ice mons. the boost in Speed helped me in my playthrough, because I could just focus on putting the bonus stat points into its Special Attack.
Heres a Line of Coromon that grew on me the moment i saw it,Mooby,Molbash and Malavite Even if they are just sand blobs,they invoke a sense of brutish strength and appears immovable once turned into Malavite Malavite looks like it can Punch through 6 layers of steel without damaging its fists and on top of that,an attack stat of 240 you betcha that it could damage even the toughest of walls
That coromon's design is really interesting. When I first encountered it, all I felt was disgust, pity, and confusion, as to why and how it exists. Almost every coromon in the game resembles real life animals based on the structure of their body, be it amphibians or mammals. However Mooby's evolution line looks like something that shouldnt be. Its design gives of a feeling of desperation due to it being a blob that ineffectively attempts to take a form, it cant even make a proper face except for dots and lines. As Mooby evolve, you'll see that it can now take the shape of a body resembling that of a human, that part disturbs me the most. Its a coromon trying to pretend to be something else using inorganic materials it latch on to such as rocks, giving me the sense of having no identity and the ignorance to create your own so you mimic your environment. (English is not my native language, sorry for bad english)
@Ed: Those aren't heads on Orotchi. Those are just masks that Orotchi holds in its three hands. Once you realize that, the design is even creepier. I love it!
FARRRRR!!!! Coromon Designs ARE FREAKING SICK! I want a Coromon 2. Just want more Monsters to catch because of how good and Original they all are in terms of design.
Volcadon is my favorite by far. Love it being a volcano turtle, and I personally like both the Potent and Perfect form. Potent reminds me of Torkoal from Pokemon and Perfect reminds me of Bowser from Mario.
Just got the game recently. I got a Silquil with Tactical Retreat right at the start. Carried me through the game with it's ability to heal after every fight, especially with maxed HP potential. Used the perfect gem on him post game instantly.
Skeletops I thought was super sick. A skeleton dinosaur thing that can hit pretty hard. I do agree with most of the list however. Megalobite easily my favourite of the three starters. Daricara is super cool. Eclyptor is probably my favourite Coromon. Wolves are my favourite animal and they did them justice in this game.
Though I do love having a Polar Bear for a Starter Companion... Dugterra is still just so cool to have, I love the White Perfect variant with it's Blue, ice-looking claws.
Naming top 10 favorite Coromon's for me will be hard for me but I will do it. Atlantern, Octotle, Grimmask, Chonktoad, Bearealis, Eclyptor , Rhynobuz, Toravolt, Malavite, Magmilus
I disagree. Gengar, Mismagius, Banette, Cofragigus, Chandelure, Dragapult, Trevenant Aegislash and Decidueye all look dope and thats more than half the roster.
Nice list Ed. Here's mine: 10. Tinshel: mostly because of it's stupid adorable battle cry and ability to solo titans 9. Purrgy: I mean...Purrgy is just purrfect in every way 8. Malavite: I really like this whole evolutionary design and it's a humanoid design done very well while also being competitively viable to boot 7. Ashclops: Perfect form is just so cool unfortunately it's not the best for battling but I really like it 6. Eclyptor: Perfect form is so good, it is very powerful, and is just really cool overall 5. Blazitaur: Very straightforward and strong Coromon with a cool design and amazing perfect form 4. Grimmask: I love the more menacing design and it seems like a solid Coromon overall. I actually prefer it's potent variation. 3. Bittybolt: Torravolt is great too but Bittybolt is just such a good design and I love that it was conceived from a scrapped Pokemon sprite. Not to mention Bittybolt is quite strong for a pre-evolution. 2. Daricara: this is pretty much solely for design as I have yet to use one but all the forms look so good and this is quite possibly my favorite Coromon design. 1. Skeletops: Cool design, interesting traits and kit that seems quite unique while being viable tho I've yet to try it, and an amazing perfect variation.
@@alexiusadty well at least Voltgar it can. Burrow + the move that increases def makes Voltgar pretty much unable to touch you. Technically I think I used Dunpod for Illujin but same strategy pretty much but Illujin was tougher due to it's mechanics and it having special moves.

love using the sloth and lazy gems. I blast through any map area and 3-4 weaker coromon evolve by the time I'm done so I don't have to worry about weak 1st stages
I love Orotchy! It's perfect colors really do it for me, I guess I just like gold. Plus it's an interesting take on the Yamata No Orochi, an 8 headed serpent/dragon from Japanese mythology.
Ok this is a nice tier list, but i think toravolt is a bit overrated. I want to make it clear that I'm the biggest Millidont fan/enjoyer, and no one can say the opposite
