Argggggg! So many uncharacteristic OU errors! I counted 5 just in the 8th. But sooner or later the uncharacteristic had to happen. Patty will bring back the head game. The skills didn't just go away; it was just that kind of day. As always: Thanks, Matt.
Great, hard fought game. Proof, even a solid team can lose a game. Can't wait for Ou to come over to the Sec... that will bring another solid team into a solid division.
Louisiana just struggled to start with and I feel like this win could propel their season in so many ways and they will only get better from here. 1% better every day.

Thanks Matt! Man, I think it's pretty obvious that OU is the better team, but the frustration from the bad call led to some errors. When I heard they lost, I wasn't expecting this kind of game. Louisiana is a capable team, but even this wasn't their best, in my opinion. Tough one for OU.
Sooner fans are salty about the umpire, but I watched the whole game and the only call they got wrong was the lead-off walk in the bottom of the 7th. Without that free pass Louisiana wins 4-2 in regulation, so the umpire actually helped OU.

I love Tiare but she needs to be moved back to 2B and off of SS. She’s made way too many mistakes. I’d move Hodge to SS.
