  • EP43: Faery Falls, Mt. Shasta - Part 2
Out of the cave and into the light! The second half of our day took us to find the healing powers of Ney Springs and Faery Falls, a breathtaking cali waterfall. The trail to Mt Shasta's Faery Falls takes you through the ruins of a healing spa; people believe there is a healing energy here in Mt. Shasta and that the springs have healing powers. We had to check it out on this off the beaten path trail. What a beautiful hike - great energy and what an amazing waterfall. It almost feels like you’re in another country, but I guess that's Northern California for you. The falls are small enough to walk up to and get under. So refreshing after a day of hiking. We could have spent more time here soaking it all in. We decided to wrap up the day with buying some fresh seafood and cooking out back at our campsite. We grilled oysters, played dominos and listened to jazz all night, enjoying our last night to the fullest.

    Mason: How was that spring?
    Shelley: It's a healing pool.
    When in Shasta, you know.

I've tried 3 times to hike to Faery Falls, so I'm going to look at your stuff on it. By caves, if you are talking about Pluto's Cave, I'm too scared to go back there, as I did something I wasn't supposed to there. I get this impression of a big Indian guarding the place down there.

Hi mmakshak! What was the issue with getting to Faery Falls? Was it finding the trailhead? It's kind of a weird spot with no trail markers. We did go to Pluto's Cave in our previous TH-cam video. It was spooky going back into the complete darkness of the cave. Do you know if the Native American's used the cave? You did something you weren't supposed to at the cave?! Now I'm curious. Can you give us a hint if it's not too edgy? Thanks for checking out the video!

@@JustAdrift First Pluto's cave: I've been going to the Mt. Shasta area for years. I try to transfer it's energy, while also helping the Mt. Shasta area. This requires me to leave something there. That's what I did, and you're not supposed to do that at Pluto's cave. I also got a vision of a big Indian when I was doing it. It's too scary for me to go back there. Yes, I believe I read that Indians lived there(or something close to that). Now, I got the correct road for Faery Falls(it's your first left after taking the turnoff for Castle Lake.). I just couldn't figure out where to park. I think I tried a spot almost right away, and later there was a big turnoff on my left where I parked. I was low on energy and only went a short distance, where it wasn't really clear how to go. As a note, I combat airplane exhaust in the Mt. Shasta area with what I leave there. My last visit was in September 2019, and I've been keeping an eye on the area through TH-cam. I'm pretty proud of my last visit, as my technology always advances.

Hi mmakshak. There is a bunch of interesting information in your comment. How do you know what to leave behind? Have you seen a benefit from the transfer of energy? Did you get to visit the healing pool at the old resort ruins half way to Faery Falls?
