Question - You invested about $1K on the machine and walked away with $1,600, but since it's a handpay and you'll owe taxes on the $1,600...after taxes and your original investment of $1K, this win was ~$200-$300 right?
No. I always use my players card, so all my losses and wins are tracked. When I pay taxes, I have all the losses balance out the wins and have never paid taxes on a handpay. IRS sent me a claim last year because the casino reported my jackpots but I just had to provide my win/loss statement to wipe out the jackpot winnings taxes.

You look like a regular guy (most other slot channels seem to have endless amounts of money to gamble) but you go to the atm at times, I don't recall any other slot channel that does that openly like you do. I have been on a losing streak at the casino for 6 or so months now. Small amounts to most people. I watch these videos to get the excitement of winning and to see if I can learn any advantage plays. (I learned the dollar trick from you on buffalo link to check he counters). I have gone to the cash machine a few times when I know I shouldn't but it's hard to just walk away. The progressives are relative to the bet size not necessarily the denomination on this game. The Grand doesn’t change. I play the large blue pigs exclusively, no matter what the progressives.
