Mentality of Parents have to change in this country. I wanted to participate in science Olympiad which was being held in notre dame college. They didn't want me to go. They said," Is this going to get you marks in your HSC final exams?! Your target is getting into BUET. Do things that will help in achieving that" They scolded me. I still disobeyed and went. I could only participate in the physics Olympiad. I did win 3rd prize in physics Olympiad. After that I wanted to participate in more competitions but never got the support. The mentality of the parents of this country has to change.

So they think that we need to just study hard so that we can get a chance to admit ourselves in a great University. It is your problem that you don't have the capability to understanding them. If you are able to understood them then i hope they don't argued with you.
