@@stephen9117No you start the game from the beginning, when alloy takes the long lift..all the Map is covered and the story is at zero but you keep all your inventory, skills, level, weapons etc.
Ive beat ultra hard in zero dawn and i aint scared of thunder jaws but i am scared of fire claws ajd ice claws and stalkers lol ive mastered zero dawn lol

Good advice for next round is when the Thunderjaw falls stunned, you can blow up its canisters using fire arrows. That deals a lot of damage.

I think it's fixed loadout and you can't use it even after it's detached.

You should have picked up the heavy weapons you shot off the thunderjaw but good strat nonetheless.
Also the spears help so much they do a lot of damage
