I've got a ultra 150 and I just replaced my oil lines. While priming the lines with a syrine(pump side of the line to carb) when I got to the 3rd carb I could fill line with no air bubbles and the syring would stop pushing oil even with some pressure. was not a problem with the other 2 carbs

Hello .. I have a 01 kawasaki 900 sts. The oil pump lines became brittle from sitting up. And fell apart. Can u tell me which line goes to which carberator from the pump?

On that year it does not matter so just cut them to length from the pump to each nipple on the carburetor

And also it's easier if you just use the oil line after it's cut to fit like a straw and suck oil out of the bottle then holds your thumb over it and install the line it fills them up much faster and you don't have to worry about priming them

I've got an 99 ultra 150 I'm having a extremely hard time getting it running. I've replaced the oil lines , fuel lines, fuel filter, sending unit, and tried to rebuild the carbs ( it won't run so idk how successful I was) and I also bought a new OEM fuel pump ...the ski will fire as soon as u hit the start button then that's it .. good compression and spark ....I've done everything I know to do ....any pointers?

Did you do a fuel pressure check on the fuel system

@@shannonwilliams601 no sir ...I just assumed everything was good since I replaced it all .... can u give me instructions on how to go about this? If u would rather explain on a different social media platform that works fine as well....

@@nelsonhill8715 Take the main field line off of the carburetor then turn your fuel selector to the on position then take a air hose with a air nozzle and Force air into the line going back to the gas tank until you see the tank start to balloon then stop in a quiet area and hold your thumb over the fuel line and listen for leaks Kawasaki's are known for the fuel valves leaking in the gas And plastic threads that has to be pressurized and hold pressure

@@shannonwilliams601 do you have any kind of social media that I could talk to you on about this ski? I'm still having a lot of problems with it actually. Just the same problem turning over and occasionally firing but it will not run

Should I pull the motor out to rebuild of do it in the ski ? Which way is easier?

    • @shannonwilliams601

Pull the motor always it's way easier and it will give you a chance to see and test anything else that's wrong also clean out the inside of the Hull
