    Nice review! I’m a Deputy in northern Arizona. I keep most of the same things in my truck bag. Only real difference is I keep a Leatherman in mine.

    I needed a smaller pack so I got the Eberlestock Bandit. Similar setup to the switchblade but smaller. Think it's 18L which is perfect for me. I agree with you, Eberlestock makes just about a damn near perfect pack. They have my business from now on...

      I've been looking at the Bandit as a smaller pack option as well. Hands down the best but packs out there. I'm testing some other packs at the moment they're super nice but honestly they make me like the Eberlestock even more.

    I’m just average guy. My edc pack is a Hill People Gear Junction pack with ad on line pocket. That pack basically is for a unexpected night outside. It’s got a water bottle, headlamp, bush pot/cup, knife, saw, fire kit/backpack stove, first aid, a little food, wipes/soap, Swagman roll, & spare socks and gloves. It’s just stuff I use pretty regularly. HPG has a good harness system too. I liked the video, take care.

      HPG is amazing I have 2 of thier kit bags the OG chest kit bag and the SAR bag. Amazing quality and US made. I haven't tried their packs, but they are on my short list. Sounds like you have a solid kit do doubt. How do you like the Swagman I've been looking into possibly one of those to replace my Snugpak xl jungle blanket

      @@unclefreedom213 I like it. It’s waterproof like a poncho and doubles as a blanket at need. It also folds into its own pocket then it works as a pillow while out camping.

    I just found your channel, enjoying your vids.
    Coincidentally, I ordered an Eberlestock Switchblade last night, looking forward to it, for every day stuff, day hikes, and work commutes (pickup or motorcycle) to my wild office and water treatment plant job.
    Good review, much is right along my thoughts for this my first Eberlestock bag.
    Thanks.

    I just received my Switchblade yesterday. Looking forward to setting up and using. Love the idea of the Small Vertx Mesh pouches and will order some. I also have a Bandit on order. And BTW, love Werther Originals too and keep them in my pack! Thank you Sir!

    Amen Brotha on pockets for every thing.. I prefer a couple dump style bags

    • @unclefreedom213
      @unclefreedom213 ปีที่แล้ว

      They have their place. I have found myself loving the blend of just enough organization with a big dump for the bulky stuff. I'm currently testing out the Kelty Redwing 30 tactical in Multicam Arid. It's nice but man i miss the brain organization of the switchblade.

    How big is this actually? Like is it to big for your to wife carry it. I’m trying to decide which one is best for small frame women. I bought a spec ops bag and it’s huge.

    • @unclefreedom213
      @unclefreedom213 ปีที่แล้ว

      no it's not huge think 17 inch laptop and it's super adjustable. The bag is designed narrower so it doesn't sit huge off to the sides how tall are you?

      @@unclefreedom213 5’5 130 . I drive 200 miles round trip everyday to work so I’m wanting to carry my Cmmg banshee 9m . With a extra pistol. My 300 blackout sbr is too heavy to carry around constantly. But would like to be able to fit it in if it gets worse on the highways. It’s 19 inches folded and the banshee is 15 folded

      Yes it should fit you should also look at the Little trick same design and pocket layout with an additional compartment that zips down for better gun fitment
