Meron costo dito sa farnborough where I live, and maraming fresh food sa morrisons and local shops. ang bahay namin on a mortgage is £335k for 3 bed, semi detached house, 40mins outside of london. I dont pay for parking in front of my house. Baka po off road parking yung sinasabi nyo, which is common sa london. Pero maybe iba po situation ninyo. Hindi po talaga uso ang big cars sa london kc mas malaki ang engine mas mahal ang tax.
i am in CA and so far never really experienced racism the past 30 yrs, maybe tiny micro aggression but not blatant, tbh I think CAN and UK have yet to address this issues after so many migrations now, it takes time and fighting but it will happen.
In the US, Maternity leave, adoption of a child, illness of immediate family, including surgery is protected under Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA). Everyone is allowed 120 days to which your job is secured from work reduction. While on maternity leave both husband and wife can go on FMLA and can be extended with proper documentation from your MD. If STD (short term disability)is provided by your employer you get paid 60-85% of your salary while on FMLA. Unfortunately you don’t get compensated while on maternity leave for the simple reason; pregnancy is not a disability but a joyous event.
Im now a retired critical care/open heart RN our rate has been good our health insurances is good we dont have that big amount of co pay I guess it depends which hospital youre working the only difference with social medicine in Canada is one just have to wait when you will have procedures done sometimes while in US no waiting period it really depends where you are comfortable with.

My take on workplace bullying is if you will let anyone to step on you they will stop acting so kind cause someone will test you if they can . Learn to stamd your ground 👌❤️🇨🇦
i agree with you. just at heathrow airport its too crowded and disorganized. i dont like london either and too expensive like if i ask for napkins i have to pay.
Mali ang ng sinabi nya sa US nurses. I have work in both so i know. Onti lang hospitals sa usa ang walang union. May break ang us nurses although mas mahaba sa canada. Pero bayad naman sa usa yun 30 mins
Wrong info nyo ate gladys andito ako sa US nurses wala kang tamang cnabi sa US nurses.. hindi mo pwede i compare ng mga experience ng kamag anak mo sa buong US nurses.
agree po ako. marami siyang opinions na hindi tama. my rn wifey worked 10 years sa vgh(vancouver) at 25 years dito sa US. malaking differences ng US at Canada nurses (earnings/benefits).

Sa US depende po sa state and company ang maternity leave. 3 months is standard but it could go up to a year 😊

Exactly what she's talking about 2-3 weeks paid which is probably an employer benefit. Then the 120 days is unpaid mandated by gov.

Correction, you only pay 1 TV licence in a house,regardless of how many TV’s you have!
London is one of the most expensive cities in the world. gas price there is like 3 or 4 time higher than in USA.
I went London last year for work training I'm not impressed with London dirty and streets are so narrow and expensive
