I know some people have said this, but Thank God we're getting a focus on older Lizzie rather than her kids or something - not a lot of shows out there tap into the struggles of new adulthood, especially turning 30. It's usually about the ups and downs of teenagers and adolescents, navigating through youth culture and high school etc., which is important, but then all of a sudden as an adult you either get it or you don't. Also the fact that she's going to be single and 30 is something I'm curious to see how they explore (with the pressures of marriage, womanhood etc). I followed Lizzie through my teens and I can't wait to do it in my late 20s-early 30s again

This is exciting since im turning 30 this August and I totally grew up on this show! Lol

I was 11 when the show started the same age as Matt’s character. I always thought Lizzie was two years older than me (I know Hilary Duff is older in real life) but her character is turning 30 next year like I am. It’s so crazy we’re the same age. How time has flown.

I have waited so many years for this, and am sooooo let down and disappointed with the rumors of Gordo not being a part of this. I honestly will not watch this if Gordo isn't there. The thought of Lizzie not being with Gordo sucks, but Gordo not being in her life at all is inconceivable. If Adam won't do the show, find another actor.
You simply cannot have Lizzie McGuire without Gordo.

I love how she talks about her son and being a mother ❤️ I’m looking forward to the new series!! My childhood is coming back to meet me in my adulthood. I often still feel like a kid and have that inner voice lol, so this is gonna be awesome!!!
