[4K] Downtown Chicago, IL US - Boystown in East Lakeview in evening

Walking around Boystown (also known as Northalsted) in the evening. This neighborhood known as one of the most country’s inclusive LGBTQ+ communities and the oldest officially recognized gay neighborhoods in the United States since 1960s.
I started from the Chicago L Belmont station heading east toward N. Halsted St. Taking the L to Belmont station, you can take Red line, Brown line, and Purple line.
On this walk you will see a calm and friendly neighborhood in the evening. But after the sun sets, this neighborhood will turn to a party street where you’ll find lively bars, late night restaurants, karaoke parties, drag shows, dance floors, dive bars, and more for fun.

I find Boystown in its current state very unattractive. To begin with, sidewalks need to be enlarged and bike lanes need to be protected. Hanging rainbow flags in every corner doesn't mean much as long as Northhalsted remains a high-speed commute way for SUVs and pick-up trucks.

Walk around Lincoln Park’s most prestigious streets such as Burling, Orchard, Howe, Dayton, Fremont, Mohawk, Kenmore, Seminary, and Clifton. That’ll definitely get lots of views. Great video by the way! 👍 New subscriber 😎
