Awesome analysis. I've been saying the same thing for a while: Klopp molded Szobo into a role where all his best qualities were suppressed. He was exhausted from covering the pitch box to box, and I believe his confidence took a huge hit when that exhaustion got the better of him. He expected so much of himself, yet he fell short in delivering in the second half of the season. He just needs his coach to see him as someone who can take the lead rather than serve everybody else. If Slot trusts him to be the attacking midfielder he always was instead of the workhorse Klopp treated him as, he has the potential to grow into a world class player. His technical ability is second to none, I hope Arne won't waste that like Jürgen did.

I do not think that playing 4 3 3 is beneficial for LFC, but i do trust Slot, he is a good manager , i think we need interchangable players if we play 4 33 or we need a serious DM that does not move and is a destroyer, like fabiano was but we do not have that. The best to get the best out of dominic is probably playing 4 2 3 1 , with Bajcetic fit this will help ..... Starting 11. Alisson , connor bradley, vvd, quansah/konate, robertson (need a competing lb), double pivots: trent/endo/bajcetic (take 2 out of the 3) , CAM : Mcallister/szobo , Front three : Salah, Nunez (jota),Diaz (gakpo). The issue is that we have too many players with similiar attributes but we are lacking two key positions ball playing Left back who can also play Centre back , Calafiori would of been an great option. But if we want to spend less than we should go for Arthur Theatre would be a bargin and plays at a high level and a defensive midfielder who can play football and defend at a high level ....Martin Zubimendi or manu kone are young and are good options too
I find it very unlikely Slot would have confirmed he was planning to play a 4-3-3 instead of a 4-2-3-1, any reference or an exact quote? I thought his typical approach was a 4-2-3-1 out of possession that morphed into a 4-3-3 in possession. Regardless of the formation, I'm not convinced Soboszlai would move higher up the pitch because McAlister is equally more effective there, and he has other alternatives like Gakpo or Jota. Not to mention Endo's stats as a DM are simply not good enough to support Slot's system.

It was not the case anymore for LFC, it's not even that hard to research, just look up his goals and assist highlights at Leipzig and it will become pretty obvious that dead balls is where he got most of his numbers (i think it was around 70-75% from dead balls). For the other numbers, well he came into a far more competitive league, off course it's going to be worse, i'm sure if you look at it you'll also see that his miscontrolled and lost balls have risen too.
