I know I never, ever had the energy these kids have! OMG!! Their talent and dedication shines in their faces!! Remember when Americans were like this????
You know when you have " Tachibana Syndrome " when you hear " Sing Sing Sing, Down by the riverside, Super Mario and FIREBALL" ringing in your head all day long..But man I think " Gangnam Style is super on point. I don't think they performed that at the Rose Parade?.. I think that would have been a riot with the crowd. Thanks for the upload!!
i'm always fascinated by the amount of precision displayed by Kyoto Tachibana High School musical and dance work! They ARE the very best and thanks for the great video work. I love their enthusiasm, skill and musical ability! Bravo.... from USA. the average person would have NO idea how much work and practice it requires to perform as the do..... countless hours and it shows. No slackers in this band.... NONE
I envy the public who get the chance to experience the KTSHS Band play and match in person....these students (and parents) represent the best in Japanese tradition... Always the best, and these students are the best

These young adults are the absolute best. I'm awed by their performances, skill and talent. Hats off to all of them, including the instructors. Talented, hard working band. If you've ever marched before, you will recognize all the work that goes into their music and dancing!
The Kyoto Tachibana SHS Band is the most famous H.S. Band in the world, mainly because they have participated in the ROSE PARADE in CALIFORNIA more than one time, therefore they were seen on TV, world wide, This great Band is a Band well disciplined. The Japanese people are very proud of this Band, when the Band Parades down the street there's always a Hugh crowd too see them on both sides of the street, often there are many American among the spectators ~USA

After this parade the seniors are almost going to stop 20 months performing in the band and transferred to the sophomores marvelous and excellent percussionists colleges are waiting for you all of you have got feed back from your sweat tear hard work best memory period deep rooted in your heart.

@@Eli-eg5zj They are all very good. But then they have to be to be part of KT band. Your favorite is called the Drum Major. Did you know they are elected to that position by the other band members. That is different than here in the U.S. where they are chosen by the Band Director.
You know if I were born in Japan and joined KT in the future I would be in the 122th class. You do the maths. KT was 115 years old (115th class) in 2018, so they were founded in around 1903.
Where were all the normal number of TK Support Crew running security? The rear guard got overrun and the lady in the blue overcoat resorted to aggressively shoulder-checking people to get them out of the way. I think she would have received a lot more cooperation if she had been wearing a black "Supporter" jacket and arm band. There may come a time when the band's popularity reaches a point when the school might have to hire professional security instead of enlisting volunteers.

I can't say enough about the Kyoto Tachibana SHS Marching Band that others have not said already. But, they're a band that can actually place a smile on a person's face and make their day better. The two snare drummers ( does anybody knows their names) are really good, and the Tom Tom drummer (Idk?) too, and I love IDK for she so cute when she smiles while beating her tomtoms! Aside from being very adept with their instruments they are also very pretty and charming like the DM (Okazel?)and so is my favorite clarinet player the pretty Eskra!

橘高校吹奏楽部の選曲はどれも最高ですね！振り付けもそれぞれの曲にすごくマッチしていて、細かい動きまでセンスの良さをとても感じます。個人的には、新しい選曲（3:23から始まる曲）の切れの良いリズムと勇ましい振り付けも特に好きです。よく見ると、沿道の観衆の中にもリズムをとっている人が何人かいらっしゃいますね。
