    Thank you for deciding to share! I just wish I’d seen this sooner. I pre-ordered the 2025 in June and encouraged my planner friends to do the same, this certainly puts me on edge. 😬😳😨

      Hopefully they will be able to handle the pre-order since they know that influx of orders is coming. Crossing my fingers for you that everything goes smoothly!

    I'm so glad I came across your video. I was just about to put in an order for her 2025 planner, but I had some questions. I emailed her... no response. I came across her IG page and left a comment on one of her posts with a different question pertaining to the new planner... again, no response. Such a shame she won't have my business this year, since she has a great layout idea, but I'm not risking my hard earned money on a business that will not treat their potential and actual customers properly.

      Gah, that is SO frustrating to have a company not respond at all. Sorry you had that experience with them. You would think they would answer back so they could make the sales, but I guess they can't be bothered. I just don't understand having zero customer service when there are 100s of great planner companies out there.
      That's kind of the response I feared so I didn't want to promote them and send people their way only for folks to be really disappointed.

      I did preorder the A5 2025 planner, but may not even get one if the minimum order isn't reached. I also brought up an issue and the response has left me a bit perplexed. I want to try the planner this year, but probably not again next year. If I don't get my pre-order than definitely going to Sterling Ink.

    I love the layout for her A5 and wanted to purchase it over sterling ink since it had both horizontal and vertical weeks which is exactly what I wanted but after seeing this. Ill be ordering from Sterling Ink instead.

      I hope that their pre-orders go more smoothly than their everyday shipping. But you totally can't go wrong with Sterling Ink. I have purchased from Catherine since the very beginning of her planners & I've always had AMAZING customer service.

    The owner of the shop is currently pregnant. In a recent video she said she was having pregnancy issues. That might be the reason for the delay. Seems only her and her husband do everything. I would give them some grace.

    • @SamisSweetLife
      @SamisSweetLife หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Well that could definitely slow things down, but my issue is still zero communication happening here. Again, it's too bad they didn't communicate that somewhere more obvious because lots of customers aren't going to be watching youtube. The video you are referring to was posted 8 days ago, so that wouldn't have even helped me months ago before I ordered. Same complaint, zero communication except an insanely long processing time listed on their website...
      I know Catherine from Sterling Ink was also pregnant during her pre-order season last year and had her baby right when pre-orders were shipping and STILL managed to keep communication open and get orders out in reasonable times. I have two kids and one of them I was high risk during her pregnancy so I definitely understand not being able to do much, but as a company owner, you have to make arrangements. She knows it's going to be even more difficult after giving birth and with a newborn. My TH-cam channel has had to be put on the back burner many times because my kids come first. Life happens. I do get it.
      My gripe will always be the same: that in-stock, non-custom products that are dated should never take a month to even leave the company. That's not reasonable. Current processing time listed on their website right now is 20 business days which equals 4 weeks. A couple days processing time, sure but FOUR WEEKS?! That's insanity.
      They have the ability to communicate issues, and even halt new ordering if they can't meet demand better than that and catch up on the orders. I've gotten multiple comments from other people about not getting responses when they ask questions so it wasn't just a one off case that I was ignored.
      Sorry for the novel, but I stand behind my original video and still feel the same. People need to know that their product will probably not even ship for a month and they may not get any response back if they need to contact the company. I feel for her, I really do. Pregnancy is tough. And not everyone can run a business well.

      As a company owner, your personal problems don't matter to customers. You have to communicate and put your customers first as long as you are open for business.

    • @SamisSweetLife
      @SamisSweetLife 23 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @alegranaghi yep, I totally agree with you. Companies have to sink or swim, no matter what's going on in their personal life. And COMMUNICATE if there needs to be a delay for any reason. I don't have an issue with a delay because things happens sometimes. I have an issue with them not responding to emails on top of there being a delay. If they had just responded to my email with a quick message about what happened or even just a little apology, I would have given them the benefit of the doubt.

    Thank you for sharing this video. I ordered the same planner and never received a shipping notification. It's been a month since I ordered it. Hi Sami thank you for the honest review. I have already pre-ordered their hybrid for 2025. This makes me nervous. In the weekbook you show here on the actual weekly layout are both columns on the left hand side gridded? Hard to tell with the lines being so light if those boxes have grid or it’s the show through from the other side. Thank you in advance!

    I don’t know exactly, but I remember she posted something on Instagram because of her pregnancy. She had some troubles with it and delivered a baby while the time you‘re talking about. But I personally agree, that she should have better closed her shop beforehand or at least noticed it on her website.

    Oh no, I just placed two orders with them today and just saw your video now! I hope I get lucky. Thank you for being honest. I think delays are often perfectly understandable but zero communication is NEVER acceptable. If they had emailed you an apology and an explanation and kept you posted on the delay, that would have been a completely different story.

      @@SamisSweetLifeand . . . It’s now been 5 weeks and no active tracking and no response to emails. I had placed two separate orders, one for the preorder and one for a mix of stickers and the 2024 weeks planner, because I didn’t want the preorder to hold up the 2024 shipment. Now there’s just over 3 months left of 2024 and still no word of when (or if) they will mail the 2024 planner, and no response to emails nor to my inquiries on Facebook. Such a shame, because they look like such great planners! If they have personal issues going on, they need to shut the store down and not keep taking orders if they can’t fill them. The total lack of communication is what really annoys me.

    This is happening more and more often, as we all know. The work to follow up and battle for your purchases/services is called "shadow work," and it is getting worse all the time. There are even studies on it now. I think you have handled this very fairly.

    • @SamisSweetLife
      @SamisSweetLife 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      I have never heard this term shadow work. Very interesting! I am going to have to look more into this. I'm sure it's happened to me before, but this one was one of the more egregious times. I couldn't just post the planner as usual without talking about the experience. It's a pity that a company can.. I don't know what... self-sabotage? To me, there's no excuse in the world for processing time to be "20 business days" for a ready made and dated product. That's just absurd. I thought more and more about it and it makes me want to stick with Sterling Ink more and more. Catherine has had amazing communication and customer service. She was even pregnant and then had a newborn STILL sending things out in a reasonable about of time! Like of all the times, having a baby is totally a great excuse to have a 20day processing time. Yet she still was able to get things out in a reasonable amount of time lol.
