I can't listen to Arif. Only Chris and you. It's American accents I don't like. They are not relaxing and they lack any real emotion. Not to mention their pronunciation. Thank you for your calm relaxing narration.
I wanted to love this. But the loop of the wren's song killed it for me. I love wrens - they're tiny birds with a loud and proud song - but knowing the sound was going to be looping every few seconds instead of randomly every 15 to 30 or 45 seconds - pulled my focus away from your voice and the story
An absolute mangling of the Jane Eyre story. Names and places remain the same, but the rest is pure Mills & Boon-style confection. So upsetting it made me unable to sleep instead of helping me relax.
We were adapting it for a romantic sleep story, and some changes are necessary, however thank you for your feedback, we'll try to improve our adaptations of the classic books in the future.
oh dearest, angry insomnia is the worst !! If you want the the original story rent an audio book. This one is on a channel called bedtime sleep stories for a reason :-)

Laura’s voice is very soothing, but the music and bird sounds are very distracting and kept me awake.
Same. I really don't like sleep stories or hypnosis with bird sounds because my brain associates birds with morning and waking up.

Listen to the whole audio book . This is only for a relaxing calm way to drift off to sleep.

Wanted to like this but ended early bc the bird in the background for the entire story is irritating. Beautiful voice though.
The bird song over and over and over ruins this.
Not a good adaption, this lady has an annoying manner of speech and misses some timing of certain words. Fine for those learning English.
Try listening to the American accents. I personally can not. They are very boring Narrator's to the point of incomprehensible.
