I became a die-hard shuffler, and I would listen to your music, Noisecontrollers, Wildstylez, The Pitcher, The Prophet, Toneshifterz, Psyko Punkz, and so many others every single day of my life. As you left Hardstyle, I gradually listened to less and less music until I couldn't even listen to the old classics anymore. I felt so empty. I never turned on the radio, listened to my iPod, or loaded up some of my old CDs. I left EDM completely and listened to other types of music, but I always felt like something was missing. Willem, your return has invigorated me again, and I feel that fire and passion that I used to feel for all those years when I would listen to this music in my bedroom, in the hallways between classes in school, and everywhere in between. I was transported to a different world, a better world, a world where I felt so at ease. And I've just been transported again. This song makes me feel all of that fire again, effortlessly and wholeheartedly. Even tough I like Headhunterz comes back to Hardstyle I have to admit that he also made some of the best tracks in House / Big Room like "Dharma" with KHSMR or "The Power of Now" with Steve Aoki so this just shows how versatile he is.
DJ CHAMPS yeah I have to agree. He makes great songs in both genres but I feel like he filled a bigger hole in the progressive/big room than in hardstyle. He felt more needed and more unique there than in Hardstyle compared to the rest of the guys in the scene. Songs like Once Again, Live Your Life and Say Goodbye were some big room songs probably noone else could have come up with, so it's sad if he really just stops making big room completely. I hope he does like Showtek or DBSTF and still produce big room. Headys role there is much more unique and important for the development of music than he will be in hardstyle, I think the toxic fans gets to his mind way too ez
While he keeps making actual Festival oriented Electronic Music and no Future Bass / Tropical / Pop it's good for me, definetely Hardstyle and Big Room are not really far both have huge energy and will always work well in shows.

Oh man. So many memories. I didn't started listening Hardstyle til around 2011. I was a dedicated HDM (Hard Dance Music) person and into dances like Jumpstyle and Malaysian Shuffling. Soon, for some reason, i lost interest and began to listen to other EDM music (Dubstep, trance, Electro house, Etc). Now, my interest for Hardstyle has finally got into my head. I miss those poetic speeches, the dances, and amazing melodies with some hard kicking bass. Dang. Good ole times. Yep this definitely sounds like a Headhunterz song. The man is back! This tune is good but we need an anthem headdy not something that's just good. Something that really sets the bar. Edit: I read all your comments and came to the conclusion that I could give the man a break. I'm impatient for his return. I've been listening to Headdy since Limewire was a thing. This track really didn't do it for me but it totally sounds like Headhunterz. Also, Willem deserves a lot of credit for not using the same kick all the time (da tweekaz is guilty of this to a degree). The melodies are amazing by themselves and he is really a great songwriter. I get a lil' tear in my eyes every concert i've been to that he played. People are right: he's baaaack! be happy~~!!!! He is the best in my opinion and when it is time an anthem will be forged. I'm tough on him. Somewhere in letting him know how I feel I might have crossed that line between what is appropriate and what is helpful. I believe that as long as I keep supporting him by going to his shows I don't really care what he plays as long as we get to dance. My favorite songs of his are: Space We Created, Subsonic, End of my Existence, Digiwave, Scantraxx Reloaded pt2, D-tuned, and of course Tonight.

Oh man. So many memories. I didn't started listening Hardstyle til around 2011. I was a dedicated HDM (Hard Dance Music) person and into dances like Jumpstyle and Malaysian Shuffling. Soon, for some reason, i lost interest and began to listen to other EDM music (Dubstep, trance, Electro house, Etc). Now, my interest for Hardstyle has finally got into my head. I miss those poetic speeches, the dances, and amazing melodies with some hard kicking bass. Dang. Good ole times. Headhunterz, Da Tweekaz, Wasted Penguinz, Wildstylez, Tuneboy, etc. Man...i regret leaving Hardstyle behind. Much love heady!!

There is no fight, but a lot of harstyle lovers would like the 'balanced' hardstyle: Hardstyle as we knew it back in the days.

Assassin286 Ich denke, keiner hat die Szene damals so beeinflusst wie HHZ, WS und NC. Brennan Heart könnte mal Variation in seine Tracks reinbringen. Guck mal über wie viele Jahre seine Tracks das selbe Sounddesign aufweisen.

This tune is good but we need an anthem headdy not something that's just good. Something that really sets the bar.
Edit: I read all your comments and came to the conclusion that I could give the man a break. I'm impatient for his return. I've been listening to Headdy since Limewire was a thing. This track really didn't do it for me but it totally sounds like Headhunterz. Also, Willem deserves a lot of credit for not using the same kick all the time (da tweekaz is guilty of this to a degree). The melodies are amazing by themselves and he is really a great songwriter. I get a lil' tear in my eyes every concert i've been to that he played.

He is the best in my opinion and when it is time an anthem will be forged. I'm tough on him. Somewhere in letting him know how I feel I might have crossed that line between what is appropriate and what is helpful. I believe that as long as I keep supporting him by going to his shows I don't really care what he plays as long as we get to dance.
My favorite songs of his are: Space We Created, Subsonic, End of my Existence, Digiwave, Scantraxx Reloaded pt2, D-tuned, and of course Tonight.
Luminocity & Destiny were really good, i guess not as good as colors, dragonborn, world of madness etc. though 😂

yeah. I saw hardstyle being born in 2000. I used to play and play hardcore with friends in some raves around the city and region. Dana, Prophet ... I'm retired after 22 years dedicated to electronic music and the underground scene. but listening to take it back made me download some old programs and stay again hours in front of the PC creating some songs and mixing some set's. thanks Willem
