Two twins could also refer to Steve and Jane, where Jane and Betty are a pair of twin sisters. To describe the four of them you'd have to say two pairs of twins. (Like shoes... twins come in pairs. Left shoe, right shoe, or a pair of shoes. First twin, second twin, or a pair of twins).
You realise you're wrong, though, surely? You're using the word incorrectly. Look in any dictionary or any medical textbook or really anywhere where english is used.
