What ifs made this game are just victory for whatever player character you chose. There are what ifs where Blue Goku defeated Fused Zamasu by Kamehameha even bypassing his immorality. There is also a what if where Goku without any training defeated Android 16 and killed Imperfect Cell too. How does that makes any sense when he is as strong as SSJ Vegeta who was humiliated by Android 18 just
Im guessing you can explain it off as ssj 3 having so much of a drain over time of your ki or power that the longer you spend using the form it actually becomes weaker ,so maybe it's a form meant to be used in very short burst for the start off power over the whole fight ,and vegeta being the battle technician he is just figures out that he can out stamina a super sayian 3 alive goku due to the drain of ssj 3 vs ssj 2 and would use that to his advantage by avoiding getting hit or getting hit too much and making goku waste more of his energy trying to land significant blows

The whole point is that it could have happened if everything but a single choice was the same. The criticism here is that they broke the established power scaling of the characters to accommodate the gameplay, and that's a flaw whether or not it takes place in a what-if.

This What-if is was a Remake or another version for the "Destined Rivals" What-if from BT2. Because it's the Same story, Only they add: a fight with kid Buu and the SSJ3 vs SSJ2 at the end with Vegeta victory.
They really should of done more remake versions of past What-Ifs; like the one when Krillian ascended to Super Human and defeated Frieza when Goku was killed instead.
SSJ2 was achieved by Vegeta during the seven years of training while Goku was away in the Other World and Gohan was spending time as a regular teenager instead of training like how his father and Vegeta were. The reason Vegeta chose to fall under Babidi's spell was so that he can battle Goku evenly thinking that it will give him the boost in power that he needed to go toe to toe with Goku. Vegeta saw that Goku had gotten far stronger than he was seven years ago during his fight with Yakon before Gohan had fought Dabura in his battle and after Dabura saw his malice in his conversation with Goku thats when he thought about a plan to place Vegeta under Babidi's control.

at this point ssj3 is a punching bag, the form either loses or ends up not doing the job. The only times it did win, was against trunks and hirudegarn. I love the form and I just can't handle how it's handled because of the plot that does not make sense in any way

Why vegeta would go ssj3 form since he's alive and would suffer the waste of energy, besides ssj2 already proved to be able to achieve the same power as ssj3
@@matheuswesley7138 Hmh you have a point but he did want to have ssj 3 and he would get it if Goku showed it in the fight and he trained in Majin form or when they fused and trained And he also has his inflatable ego of not losing and staying behind of Goku So that's why I think it would be good to have these what ifs

I love this game but I hate the fact that what ifs in the game are just victory for whatever character you chose just instead of trying to be realistic to story at all.
Things like SSJ2 Vegeta vs SSJ3 Goku having Vegeta win despite getting ragdolled by Kid Buu 5 seconds earlier or the what if about Blue Goku randomly getting the strength to defeat Fused Zamasu alone are just bs

at this point ssj3 is a punching bag, the form either loses or ends up not doing the job. The only times it did win, was against trunks and hirudegarn. I love the form and I just can't handle how it's handled because of the plot that does not make sense in any way
