Had to go listen. Damn, you're right. Those haunting chant vocals are something very new and fresh for HTS.
Kind of reminds me of some of the more dark songs by Coheed and Cambria. These guys have so many tricks up their sleeves. 🤘

This is one of the best moments on the album. On a lot of their albums.
The more I listen to the album, the more I focus on the parts where they experimented, and wrote things that sound completely different than their other work. Maybe that's why this album is proving to be one of the biggest 'grower' albums for me.
