Looking back on this now with all the prologue episodes finished is something special. There’s so many hints and references to things that went on then that we are now going to experience in this new season.

I like how they became inspired by living in the modern apocalypse, its no longer about surviving or stopping the apopcolyspe, but accustoming ourselves to it.
With the conclusion of the prologue, it was great coming back to this trailer and seeing how it incorporated what came out of The Quiet Year. Fantastic job!

I was the same way.. I quit listening in November and just didn't have have time or energy to get back into it. I finally did because I missed them and having something other than music to listen to while working.. I'm so glad I picked it back up.. I needed the laughs to bring me life again. Hope you can feel the same when you get back into it too!

I fell off Graduation like a lot of people did (I love Travis, I get ADHD sympathy pangs off far too much of what Travis deals with, but it really wasn't a fun show to listen to anymore), and I am very excited to come back to TAZ - I've missed it a lot.

I'm pretty new to TAZ and started with Graduation. I really enjoyed the first ~15-20? episodes! They have a charming sort of Saturday morning cartoon feel to them. I liked the conscious attempts in them to almost, like, purposefully reduce the stakes of stuff? Early Graduation really leaned into being anticlimactic, and I found it a nice change in pace from standard "huge, world-shattering threat" stuff, both in and out of fiction. The apple arc was probably the peak imo. I genuinely thought where we were going was that yeah, the headmaster was a demon, but that no one cared because everyone already knew. And I thought that was super cool! I loved the idea of a demon that took over a school admin position just because idk, he liked the job and was good at it! Maybe even better than the actual "hero" who last had the job -- a cool parallel to our villainous boys. I don't have a problem with the direction they took it, ofc -- it's their show, and Travis had the reins! -- but the change in tone to include actual threats you're supposed to take seriously was pretty jarring and I couldn't finish. 🙁 Sorry to blather; just a lot of the discussion around Graduation is way too negative on Travis, is all, when there's some pretty solid stuff there among the flaws. I am most of the way through Balance now, though, and having a good time with that. Also looking forward to this new arc! 😊

I can't believe this was on trending. From Monster Factory to finding MBMBaM while on my night shift retail job I got right before the pandemic, now Adventure Zone. You brothers (and papa Clint) have made this entire strange time an enjoyable ride.
Griffin's composing... This score has elements of somberness, ala Inon Zur, it has the building enthusiasm and excitement of a Michael Giacchino score, the Go get em' of a Route theme from Pokémon-- It's outstanding and I always look forward to the gift that Griffin McElroy freely gives us with his music. His wit and charm are plenty but if he EVER made an album, I would buy all of them. I've never been more excited for anything you've done.
Its weird how they said the three characters depicted weren't actually the PCs and yet they turned out pretty damn close. The only problem is Justin's doesn't look like an older lady. I also love that it implied they were an astral self monk which is obviously what Amber is going to become based on her whole deal. If they honestly weren't intended to be the PCs then that's an insane coincidence.
This teaser still hits as hard as the day I saw it. I hope they return to Ethersea. Because WOW. That was one hell of a story and there is still so much more to be told. Thank you Griffin, Justin, Travis, and Cliff.
Pretty amazing how accurate some of this is at this point (prelude episodes up though episode 6 of the arc). I wonder how much prerecording or character knowledge was shared to create it.
I do wonder though, is that mechanically gonna work as being a warforged? Making up a race for sentient barnacle can’t be easy, but we’ll just have to see when the first episode hits.

So far Ethersea has been the only campaign I’ve listened to twice, and for good reason- it’s by far my favourite out of all of TAZ’s worlds
on my second listen now.

Pretty amazing how accurate some of this is at this point (prelude episodes up though episode 6 of the arc). I wonder how much prerecording or character knowledge was shared to create it.
