I think when like a celebrity or someone well known dies, I think people don't want to sell it because they sell it for more and people most likely won't buy it because they sell it for way more than worth
Just a little clarification for everyone. The story told in the beginning is about the original owner. Who passed in 08, the home was sold shortly after and had multiple tenants. The Doctor was an honest man in the DMV area. He had 4 kids 2 which were his sons who were in there mid 20s at the time of the crash and a youngest daughter who was around 12. The youngest is a doctor while the two older sons are doing well too the oldest actually works in sports media. There story is cool I guess for click bait but the belongings in there are from families after that.
Also the mom went the depression caused by the tragedy….they were able to move inside there previous home which is also a pretty huge place too after she sold this beauty.
Exactly. The most recent residents of the home was a female who was on a TV reality show and her boyfriend who was a famous college basketball player, we found multiple things that would back up our story, we left most of it out for they’re privacy…. But we found awards, even a theme park season member ID with the basketball players name and that’s how and why we based it off of them, the other TH-camrs who documented this place know that, but also left it out because the story of the original and first owner is a little more juicy.
Found you guys through TikTok reels on Facebook and binge watched one weekend I was sick in bed! Hospitals and schools are my favorite, but these are absolutely mind blowing everything left behind!
Zek’s jacket deserves a mention here. It’s so cool. I recognize the Isaac Mizrahi tag. He is a designer and the tag is from a collection he did with Target. Probably around 2012 they parted ways. The last person to live in the house was a basketball player, the stories you see in other places or videos are also true but are old stories of the original owners. Everything you see inside the home was owned by the basketball player. We found multiple things indicating that, we found a membership ID card with the individuals name, we also found awards and documents with his name, we didn’t show that on camera out of respect of his privacy, but theirs no need to lie, if so we would have went with a much juicier story. He wasn’t in the NBA we used a random photo for the thumbnail thats why it’s blurred out but he was a professional college basketball player that went to play overseas around the time the mansion was left this way. Like i said the other stories are true and so is this one, the person we’re basing it off was the most recent resident of the home.

The only Denver Nugget NBA player that wore #36 jersey is Shawnelle Scott. He was 6’10” and 250lbs back then, so those big shorts are probably his. Drafted in the NBA in 1994, he played 4 seasons in the NBA and finished with the Denver Nuggets in 2001-02. Notice that the two vehicles found in the garage are from the 2000 era. So this makes sense that he left the property and vehicles around this time, to go begin his 2nd career in basketball in Europe. He played two seasons in Italy, then one in China and Greece, only to finish his last season with the America Basketball Association which is an American Semi-professional men’s basketball minor league. Ending his playing career in 2006, it’s unknown what Shawnelle did afterwards, however it seems like he lost his property around 2012-2013 as he owed many years of back taxes to the municipality in which he lived. This goes to show that some high earning athletes sometimes never get the opportunity to learn how to manage nor invest their earnings, nor think long term to the day their career and endorsement deals end. For many, bankruptcy is often the only option. Unfortunately for Shawnelle, it seems that things could have happened differently. Very sad to see one’s possessions not be collected by its original owners. It sickens me to see that by-passers looted his home and possessions and that people are making money by sharing someone’s struggles like this video. Now a days, it seems like Shawnelle has turned a page in life, as he now currently works as a high school basketball coach and physics teacher at a high school located in New York City. The average high school teacher salary in New York City is anywhere from $45k to $85k as of 2023. I wish Shawnelle and his family all the best, and I am sure he is sharing and educating his life lessons to the next generation of ball players.

But those Jordan’s don’t add up with when he played unless he bought this house not long ago. I may be wrong
@@christopherperry35 he made in those years around 3M’s. You can put money down on a house in a variety of ways. He didn’t have to buy it straight out lol the same goes with the cars. With the shoes and clothes I mean if you feel like you can afford em go ahead. Unfortunately we don’t know why he left the house. However money does run out and you need to be smarter with spending.

Love that Mercedes CLK❤️
Nice explore.. What a grand estate love how open it was
Awesome video ! Love your adventures !
Thank You!! 😁
the jewelry you guys were wondering about is vancleef, those necklaces are prob like 6k
Seriously though, all these massive abandoned rich people and celebrity mansions make me sick. Such gluttony all going to waste. If they can't sell the house at least donate the property and do SOMETHING with it. Anything.. it's sad to see so many empty luxury homes going to waste while our homeless problem is so astronomical.
If I would have took a tour of that Mansion I'll be stealing like a mad rushing probably got to bring multiple backpacks
There was a dish in the kitchen that is worth any where between 5,000 to 36,000 dollars and the dish in the cabinet is worth about 125,000
Wow 😳
OMG, I was looking at that. It did look expensive.
I'm sure all of this stuff is very expensive!!
How do you know? Sounds like youre making figures up
@diannascammell3841 what's the timestamp?
When you said " Imagine living here", I was doing just that at the time you said it😅🎉
Absolutely beautiful. Why did they not have someone sell the things on eBay! Why did they not hire movers!!
Because the owner is drunk from too much money.
41:38 this necklaces can run up to $11,000-$14,000
Why are y’all whispering 😂
These houses like this were owned and still owned by the actual NBA team! Look it up these houses actually are abandoned by the players to void the lease agreement and leave it on the Teams .. So Many Old Celtics Players and Patriots players in Massachusetts.. still in Tact
Legit thousands of dollars in clothes and shoes alone in that place. Someone sure left in a hurry.
Where is this home I’m interested in purchasing it with my investor friends?
If only we realize that this life is temporary
👏🏼
it was infact a medical surgeon who built and lived in the home unfortunantly he died in a plane crash in 2015 and left he wife and three sons.. the house was still under morgage and they couldent pay because none of them had a job they were evicted 5 mounths later
the son was attending a basketball team in his highschool years
Incredible explore! Thank you
Thank you for this video, good job.
Thank you!
How do you find these places?
Do you get permission first?
Such a waste of property, money etc
I actually saw another video with a different history of this house.
I like watching these sorts of videos but my worry is that if you give the location out where it is, you will get people going in vandalising the place and stealing. I just don’t understand why people do that there’s no need for it. Why not just leave it the way you’ve found it, it’s called Respect when I go exploring, I’ll leave it exactly the way I’ve found it so other Explorers can experience the beauty of these mansions great video by the way.
You’re talking to humans here, most have absolutely no integrity when no one’s watching
You can call it exploring but in all actuality it’s called breaking entering you’re on somebody’s property where you don’t belong so it’s all bad from the start
Awesome job guys. I'm now a new subscriber
I hope you guys took the sneakers and gave them away ti the homeless. There are enough clothes to open up a small boutique. It’s really sad how much some rich people waste things. Love your content. Keep going
Yeah, even being there is probably against the law and you're talking about taking something that doesn't belong to them smh. They should just make their videos and leave
Yeah, I’m sure they’d have a lot of use for a bunch of expensive kids basketball shoes 😂
you can't take ppl belongings
Mann I remember in high school, people would bring generators to these foreclosed homes and throw the biggest parties lmao
Wow I’d be leaving with duffel bags.
Do you ever revisit places. I’d be curious to see what this house was like now , has it been bought or is it still abandoned.
Surprised no one has gone in and taken all the stuff in there (Clothes, shoes, ect) since it is abandoned.
I’m on my way
That's what I'm saying!!!
The cameras must be still working and it will look like theft
Looks like whoever lived there left in a hurry! Almost like they had to pack really quickly or on the run😳
Quite Eerie
Duh nba players get traded over night
@@kccustoms7719 they also have enough money to have someone pack for them. Rich folks don’t do this unless there is an issue or there’s trouble they are running from!
@@kccustoms7719 no one will get traded and say ‘forget everything. We’re gonna leave these cars and buy two more. Let’s leave a these TVs and brand new clothes and shoes.’ I don’t know how it went but I highly doubt it went that way. Look like someone but off more than they can chew Al with this house and probably financial illiterate
It looks like the lady of the house had shopping issues that put them into the poor house
Did you guys end up filming 🎥 the 3rd floor? I've seen this mansion done by other Urban Explorers. By the way, great 👍 job guys! 👏 😊💜🇦🇺
This is sad to watch. All that house..all that money that could have been used for good now abandoned and rotting.
When you were walking into the garage there was a green light on next to the door. Was the power still on there?
Yup!! Half of the wiring throughout the home was stripped though
Seems they bit off more then they could chew and couldn't afford the home, Uncle Sam comes calling and you have no time to get every together because they waited until the last minute and was put out. But most definitely looks like a last minute seized by the IRS. And yes there is things missing from the first time I seen this home for sure. Sad really. 🥺
Once I saw the Prada and some of the other clothing lines, the clothes alone would sell for 1000s of dollars and its just left there :(
Most them kicks fake
i think, thats shawnelle scott's property!.
denver nungets , jersey number 36 ...6'10 height..way back 2001 to 2002.
another Great video! thnx
Thank you for watching 😁
The former owner was Dr. Chester Mayo. His family founded the Mayo Clinic. He was taking his son to his private school and was killed in a plane crash in 2016. Two other students were also killed.
Can you image living in this house? That downstairs bedroom was so pretty! Let me go figure out these winning mega million numbers cause my whole house could probably fit in that master bedroom 😂
Sure would be cool! 😁
I went broke just thinking about the cost of cooling and heating that place.
you guys were at my local toys r us not to long ago ur videos are very nice just subscribed
Thank you so much!!
I'm not asking the location of this abandoned mansion but how did you guys even find something like this ? Just wandering around ? Or how bc this shit is crazy !? But awesome ! Thanks guys continue to make more vids
Online place was actually posted a lot and visited by many but thank you so much
Loved this video thanks!! 😊
If you go into someone’s house that’s abandoned that’s called breaking and entering which is a felony.. you also recorded the crime so you’re definitely getting found guilty… at the same time thank you I enjoy watching without taking on the risks of prosecution 🤣🤣❤️
Is this your old home lol
@@dramii1 no I’m not that dumb to waste 10 million on a home then abandon it 😅
@@fenkellmoney8034 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I know but the way you was texting it
And did they get caught Nope
Incredible. I’m speechless.
As someone struggling financially and homeless this is too hard to watch....
Tell me about it!!
Extremely!!!!!!! I'm sick
You have a phone and are on TH-cam. Things can’t be that fkn bad. Man up.
😢 You control your own destiny. Stop hating on people who capitalize on theirs
I will keep you in my prayers 🙏
These videos are so cool to watch too bad there's too many morons out there who are gonna find this property anyway and vandalize the shit out of it. We can never have something nice, new or abandoned.
What is the purpose of doubg such a thing. This is a crazy world. Those appearvto be woman sized shoes. I hope they come back soon.
Scott shawnelle wore number 36 on the nuggets back in 2002
Great episode loved it! 😊
Thx!
Looks like the people that lived there probably lived there part time and owned other places to live as well. Clearly they were extremely loaded and didnt care what they left behind. Somebody already came and stole a bunch of stuff looks like.
I enjoyed this. It's so sad how do you have money for a house like that and don't have money to move out properly. He could have donated the cars and clothes. This makes me angry . I hate waste. But thanks . Another great find
Thank you!!

The last person to live in the house was a basketball player, the stories you see every where else are some what true but are old stories of the original owners. Everything you see in the home was owned by the basketball player. We found multiple things indicating that, we found a membership ID card with the individuals name, we also found awards and documents with his name, we didn’t show that on camera out of respect of his privacy, but theirs no need to lie, if so we would have went with a much juicier story. He wasn’t in the NBA we just used a random photo for the thumbnail thats why it’s blurred out but he was a professional college basketball player, that went to play overseas around the time this mansion was left this way. Like i said the other stories are true and so is this one, the person we’re basing it off was the most recent resident of the home.
@@urbaxvibes Can you give us a hint on the NBA players name?
I agree with you 100%
What happened to the family who lived there? All too vague/ general
It’s not advisable to be touching those stuffs without any gloves on. You don’t know the background story about this property and leaving your dna around is quite unfortunate. However good job with the walk through, keep it up!
Cool explore all those shoes could have been donated to some kind of Charity its sad just sits there even the cars could have been donated and awwwww the fox adorable.
I feel like they was getting the house ready to live in and had to give it up
Same 😳
th-cam.com/video/RolmAgmNmHQ/w-d-xo.html not sure who the second owners were but this video mentions the first owner
chanel nail polish is about $30 a bottle...awesome video
Thank you!
Love the den with all the stunning woodwork. There's got to be a way to save all the clothes and shoes and sell the house. This is so weird price tags on furniture and ornaments. Weird
No chance this is Shawnelle Scott's house. He didn't even make 10 million in his career. I do believe it was a former Nuggets player, but not him.
what about a loan?
Might be... he is the only nugget to wear #36
He might've stayed the night there visiting a teammate I'm really curious as to why and how it seems they left so abruptly
its nene
@@arrisgordon17 NBA players do give out get each other clothing. If it was him those sneakers and clothes were too small
AWESOME VIDEO! YOU JUST GAINED A NEW SUBSCRIBER! IM JUST TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHO THE PLAYER & THE TV REALITY STAR IS AND WHY THEY LEFT THEIR HOME LIKE THIS. IT WAS AS IF THEY LEFT ABRUPTLY. SUCH A WASTE! A LOT OF THOSE ITEMS COULD HAVE BEEN DONATED.
