It's so rare that I find someone who I can binge watch every video even older ones. The last time it probably was agadmator chess and then Gotham to a smaller extent but that's years ago. Great content my man.
8:20 sacrifice the queen to d1 and let the rook take it because the check doesn’t matter and you can just move to h8 and your rook is still defending so if he takes it will be mate and his queen is force to go back and defend since his queen and rook are on the same rank because of the check 🧐🧐🧐
8:21 Queen to either f5 or d1 sacrificing. If he takes then backrank mate. If he just pushes the pawn to protect then first take the rook. He also takes then we protect with the bishop and if goes to g5 then king to h8 if f6 then QxQf6 and we bully him with 5 minutes on time
At 11:46 black ignored 1st move opening theory, in a way that can be checked by Stockfish. Supposedly, if white's 1st move is to move a queenside pawn or the king's bishop pawn two spaces forward, and if black's 1st move in response is something other than Nf6, then on white's 2nd move, white has a choice (or sometimes more than one choice) from roughly 18 possible 2nd moves that will gain white an advantage. Stockfish is great on checking on such vague generalizations - and on revealing what if any advantageous 2nd moves might really be out there for white. I ran Stockfish 16 out to a depth of 43 on the starting position 1. d4 d5 The result was that a white 2nd move of c4 would provide a real advantage of +0.17 for white. Vague 1st move opening theory does indeed seem to be correct, at least when white's 1st move is the queenside pawn move c4. I did not know the advantage was so big for 1. c4 c5, until Stockfish 16 told me so. Short version: Perhaps people should pay a little more attention to 1st move opening theory. The benefits can be surprisingly large. I was surprised too when I saw what Stockfish had to say.
one thing youre doing wrong is only looking to attack at 17:35 this is clearly an positional middlegame with blacks pawn structure doomed improving ur position and targetting weaknesses instead of attacking in chess will make u a better chess player

White won't take the queen. Queen takes f7 winning the pawn and saving the rook.

8:30 you should take your queen to d1, then rook take queen, then you takes rook is checkmate 😢
If he take his king near his rook you can give a check with bishop
You are trash!😭
Also he can defend the rook by using his queen. Just because the queen is on D1 does not mean the opponent has to take it.
@Saf1-rook has access to all the files to attack queen
