Yes, it's a bit of a pain. I've also found that with PCG (using Physical Materials), you sometimes have to reload the level if you change your landscape layer masks. Annoying!
Excellent tutorials! I did run into an issue with the foliage pack used here. I'm using 5.5 and the pack is only compatible up to 5.4 . If anyone else is on 5.5 , do you have a recommendation (s) on a foliage pack for the new release? Thanks!
If you ever have odd issues with grass maps, I would tend to try one or all of the following: 1) Change something (anything) in the material instance to force the LGTs to be rebuilt 2) Use the Build menu to rebuild all grass types 3) Reload the level

for some reason im not getting the clumps of grass showing up
after cmd Grass.flushcahe prompt you have to save the project and restart.then use the grass.flush cmd again.they will appear.

Hi, Another great tutorial. I found that if I turned the puddles off and then turned them back on, the stones appeared on the ground layer.
It was probably that changing any parameter in the landscape material instance forced it to regenerate the ground grass type.
I am using UE5.5 and am not finding: Instance World Position offset disable Distance!
nope i just restarted in unreal and now they arent showing up this is baffling
3h and the problem is my Low Settings configuration. The Grass appear finally 😅😅😅😅😅

im sorry unreal5.4 crashing every time i try to save this is crazy i got a gpu 4090 this shouldnt be happening
decrease the amount of assets.start with 1.i have 5600xt & 32gb ram and its working.

I only have a 3080 in my rig and it's working fine. Sometimes weird things happen in UE and you have to reload levels etc.
