I love that quin ends his videos by saying "this is where I end that episode, for now" which sounds like if I come back later the video will just be longer.
Quin you can throw the glow seeds if you run out of arrows, just hold RB to throw, then press up on the dpad to select an item to throw. you will need the arrows down there, best to save them for the fights. You are also very correct that it is too much to explore all at once, you definitely are doing it the right way by breaking it up and exploring in pieces. You will eventually see it all, there is a lot of cool stuff hidden down there. Lots of bomb flowers too
Go to Eventide Island and jump into the chasm there. There should be a coliseum nearby in the depths and you’ll get a prize that’s related to Twilight Princess
Quinn started uploading TOTK videos before I got the game so I had to restrain myself to prevent me from watching them so I didn’t spoil anything. I then proceeded to play through the game and after completing the four main Sage quests decided to watch his videos and realized that I could’ve started watching them earlier in my playthrough because I was so far ahead. I was so sad cause I could’ve been bingeing his videos while I was playing😭
Quin, no pressure but your uploads are one of the only things getting my through my PhD right now since I can look forward to them amidst the turmoil 💀
Quin running around doing nothing is a vibe and I am here to enjoy it. It’s also hilarious how he is super smart on the most mundane of tasks but also fails at the the ones where I felt brilliant. *In today’s episode of Tears of the Kingdom…* Quin may claim to be the embodiment of unrelenting, stubborn spite, but as his health grows and his being overflows with vigor, it is clear that he is not immune to the Voices’ influence. His pockets have dimmed considerably, and to make up for his “loss” (transfer of power, exchange of currency, what-have-you), he is to explore Hyrule once again. While his plans are steadfast and strong, the goblin controlling his internal mechanisms is easily swayed into unwise actions: this is how he ended up hunting gleeoks instead of shrines. Trying to regain control of his life, Quin hard-redirects himself into “Puzzle Mode” … only to leap repeatedly into one of two substances: Void or lava. The Voices’ capacity for danger not satiated, Quin is lured by promises of treasure back into the _Depths-also influenced to use his goddamn brightbloom seeds for the love of goat-only_ to find a pair of pants. Hey Quin, for future reference, gloom hands are bad at climbing. Should have been legs instead. But if you can get up above them on a rock or something, you can easily snipe them with a bow, or let your companions take care of them. Also, bombs are incredibly effective against them since the explosion will damage all of them at once.
Quin I’m not sure if you knew, but there’s an entire side adventure you start at Lucky Clover Gazette, the old stable by the bridge leading to Rito Village. It’s not Kass, but you get to meet a new Rito buddy who flies to all the stables investigating stories, I think you’d enjoy it!
God I love your intros I've been feeling terrible the last couple days, so an upload just as I sit down to relax really couldn't be more perfect timing
Fun fact. I was tryna kill that Thunder Dragon to do something in that coliseum, and the millisecond he died the blood moon came. Had to then kill him AGAIN to do the quest there
9:52 Quin, I literally shouted “Nooo!” in perfect time with you. Not the wind shield! 😂😂 It’s really such a character arc from Quin hating shields to Quin using the wing shield for absolutely everything. Also, bomb arrows (especially with a multi-shot bow) destroy The Hands. And if Phantom Ganon isn’t around, you can just run until the gloom hands vanish….
Good news Quinn there is actually evidence in the game that suggests the third game in the botw totk trilogy will take place in space! You’ll know it when you see it 😉
Quin you should follow the quest line line with Purah’s little assistant (I forgot her name lol) and then you can start some quest with Robbie that give really good rewards.
You dont actually need arrows to throw the bright seeds, just start to throw your weapon, but before you release press up on the D-pad and then you can throw pretty much anything in your inventory!
The low gravity flurry rush was magestic. That shrine was/is do fun! Good slapping PG! So sad that your beautiful boat didn't work in that rude river! At least you know whats at the end. Good job big braining it once again
To easily beat a gleekok, get a ton of keese eyeballs, some lynel bows and some rocket shields. Also there is a special gleeok on the island above eventide island.
quick tip to get more keese eyeballs because theyre so good: some caves will have a flock of keese fly out of them when you get near the entrance, if you just shoot them with a bomb it kills like half of them and you get so many eyeballs. also you can buy arrows at lookout landing and then wait at a campfire and the shop will restock, i recommend getting at least 90 arrows that way but never from beedle because he scams you and his arrow prices are higher
For the gleeok you should fuse rockets to a bunch of your shields so that you can fly into the sky and get bullet time. Without that the fight is way harder
The depths are the opposite of the surface. If you see an island surrounded by water on the surface, it's surrounded by cliffs in the depths. Try looking for a chasm on the island. Also every surface shrine is connected to a light root in the depths. That doesn't include sky shrines. I find it helpful to leave the surface map up in the depths. Going up on the surface equals going down in the depths and vice versa.
If you open the item menu while gliding, you can just drop stuff below you, which is a nice easy way to drop a Bright Bloom down an abyss so you can see where the ground is.
Quin, if you wanna get the item marked on the treasure map, you won't be able to reach it through any other entry in the depths. The only was to get their is through Eventide Island. Also, I think your gonna love the treasure hiding there. Just a hunch
