Had a glitch where in the Barberella bounty 5 star, the wagon spawned inside their hideout, got stuck on top of a pile of boxes, horse died and my wagon exploded. It’s like I was never meant to become a hunter 😂
The wagon spawn is so stupid. Even the horse is not too bright either but at least it eventually reaches you while wagons can't find their way or even run past you and still going.

Pro tip: The easiest way to complete double bounty target missions playing solo is to hog tie both targets, put one on your horse and tell it to follow you start carrying the other one. Enemies on horses will usually chase after you. Drop the bounty, steal their horse BEFORE killing them or it'll run away, kill the enemy, put the bounty on enemies horse. Return to them to sheriff. You'll at least need the reinforced lasso in order to manage two at a time though.
There is an easy way to get the wagons in the game to come directly to you (including hunting wagon). Get to a road. Stand in the road facing the direction you want to go, then call out wagon. It will arrive on the road behind you.

Biggest thing about the bounty wagon as well is that if you’re doing a 4-6 man bounty, the wagon has a 50/50 glitch where if you put the last person on the wagon, the bounty will either just die and stay stuck on the top of it, or will say “wagon is full” despite it having space for one more. I hope Rockstar fixes this, not a huge money difference from losing one but still, money is everything in this game like GTAO

I love being a bounty hunter rn 😌 it’s so fun I level up to 10 within a few days, doing the method of bringing the bounty late and getting maxed xp. I made so far 8.79 gold and $1200, finally made it to the wagon and it’s a big help.
For your 5th tip... knock them out then place in wagon so hogtie - knockout - place in wagon and if you crash they pop out no need to repursue them we do it all the time
I find it really difficult that targets don't escape (when there are multiple targets). My problem is that as soon as they move away like 10m from the main group, they disappear from the radar and I don't even have a clue in which direction they flew... like in the middle of a firefight.
I expand my radar with Down on the D-pad. Keep spamming it and then you'll get an indicator that shows the direction different from the other people. Follow that direction (it works 70% of the time). Even targets that are only on foot, are faster than you would imagine.
It's actually possible to get more than 1 bounty alive as a solo player without the bounty wagon, although it is quite inconvenient. For 2 bounties you can knock them out and lasso a wild or enemy horse, put a bounty on it, put another on your own horse and tell it to follow while riding the enemy horse. Or just carry one on your back all the way to the jail. For 3 or more you can steal a wagon on the road and use a rock or ledge to drop bodies down into the back, but if you hit a lot of bumps or a rock theres a good chance they all flop out and/or die.
I've experienced that while playing with my uncle on a multi-bounty mission (2 bounties or more in one mission) we had most of the bounties dead in the wagon, we were traveling in theives landing, and obviously the wagon crashed and we couldn't take the dead targets out of the wagon. I wish you could put other players into the bounty wagon, and there was a way for them to escape.
Quick Tip: You don’t have to flee your horse to switch to any vehicle, you can just call the vehicle and your hire will be dismissed. Once you dismiss your vehicle, you can call your horse by whistling and your previous horse will immediately respawn. PS: make sure you don’t have anything on your horse like skins or carcass, otherwise there is a good chance it will disappear 🫠

I got it, level 20 all 3. Started out as a bounty Hunter tho very slow but the more you rank up the more exp you get even on the lower bounties. outlaw pass helps too. I did it without it bcoz I was gold broke. Bolas is the best tho, better range than the RL plus it knocks em down and entangles works great on bounties riding horses too. Just grind and always bring them in alive do the $$$ and legendary bounties, the sniper guy is a fun one! At 5 stars they get you heaps of exp too. Farm the 5 star legendary bounties too.

I really wish I could ride the wagon and have my horse follow me, because on the first bounty I did with the wagon, there were 2 targets and one of them escaped because I couldn't catch up to him. I ended up bringing in one target, which I could have easily done with my horse. If you are gonna do multi-person bounties, try doing it with your friends so that they can chase down any targets who try escaping and then put them into your wagon since they can't break out unless you crash.
I've never had a bounty escape from the reinforced lasso. I tied up the entire gang the other day, while take the 2 targets lol. At the end they were all still tied

After about 10 PM Mountain Standard time the whole lobby is full of toxic Chinese modders, dudes with half a brain, and another half is low self esteem to just put God mode and go into lobbies doing weird sh. Ruins the game experience. They will try to find you randomly to nuke your character. I like playing with randoms until 10 PM, and after that Chinese mfs ruin it. Also lags server like crazy.
For some reason I couldn't edit the previous comment. Bought and just completed 4 target bounty, all alive. Much easier with the wagon, and having to drive slowly helps you run the timer down.
As a primarily solo player I bought this to do bounties where I have to collect multiple. Then the first mission im doing with multiple bounties the game gives me a ridiculously short amount of time to finish the mission. No way I could collect all the bounties and return them to the jail or whatever in time. What a waste of money!
Reinforced lasso who needs it when you can just beat the shit out of the bounties and they don't wake up but they still count as alive. Hell you can even shoot them twice with most revolvers and pistols to make them fall down so they stop running.
Ride your horse to the area, hogtie all the targets with your reinforced lasso since it's basically impossible for non-player enemies to break out of them, catch any escaping targets if you need to, put them all in a pile if you can, dismiss your horse, summon your wagon, and load them all in. I just came up with this so I don't know if it will work, but I will let you know.
I bounty hunt solo. The targets often flee. Is that due to non stealth approach or do they always flee once the fighting starts? If they flee and I have the wagon out they’re escape, right?

It would've been awesome if they made it to where you can store weapons in both wagons so when your hunting you have your hunting gear and when you're going for bounties you have that gear whatever it is you want it to be
I found that if you take a bounty and it loads you into the map again, its not gonna give you xp. If it doesnt load in then its all good and youll get all the rewards. Also, if it does glitch Ive found that the gold they do give you is usually more than they usually give you so it might be good for racking up gold atleast.
hey bro also I found out if you're doing a bounty and it goes to a black screen go ahead go to another free room you'll start in the same area pick the bounty up off the wall and then wait in that spot and it should work every time it's been working wonders for me. ONE LOVE !
I managed to drag a 2nd bounty target all the way to the sheriff office without killing it. All that happened was that the mission finished when I turned in the 1st guy, and the game said I'd delivered 1 alive and missed 1.
When it comes to the lasso, I’ve experienced so many times the bounty target escaping from the lasso and giving me so much trouble and some times losing the money, so I just knock them out or kicking them without killing them ofc that way they don’t scape and I’m able to finish the mission
What i'd like to know is, how do you get rid of your targets left in the bounty waggon when the time runs out? I can't call my horse at all till the targets are out of the waggon and there is no option to pull them out of the waggon from the rear door.
I've tried about 5 bounties & only succeeded in two (by killing them) - usually they run away & I can't find them. I guess I'm just not good enough on my own but I'll keep trying. PS Ignore the negative comments; you'll never keep everyone happy anyway.
The reward only has to do with how long you wait before closing out the bounty. If you're a posse memeber, youp get half the reward compared to the posse leader.
Apparently there is a fix for the bounties and the xp. When you go to a bounty board, press accept and then don’t touch the controller at all. If the screen goes black after accepting the bounty, you won’t get the xp and that seems to happen when you move immediately after accepting the bounty. Whereas if you don’t touch the controller and you don’t get a black screen, you will receive the xp. Apparently, not touching the controller for at least five seconds works. This is an official response from Rockstar support. Give it a try.
I get the black screen 80% of the time and still get my bounty xp , not sure that is what causes it. The black screen means you're going to be in a lobby alone.
@@BBbizzle never happened to me, I've leveled bounty hunter up to 20 entirely solo, had finished lots of missions where I had to capture 4-6 bounties. For 6 bounties it takes me around 6-8 minutes to put them all into wagon, nobody escaped from the wagon within this time while the others on the ground managed to free from reinforced lasso (obviously I was not on the wagon because I was carrying targets). I've never used wagon that much for legendary bounties except 1 mission tho, owlhoot family, because other missions don't even have multiple targets, but they still didn't escape wagon while I was taking my time and looting all the guards. The OP most probably is just bs'ing, they only escape if the horse dies (means the wagon is destroyed) and you'll get a notification that the wagon is destroyed, targets are now escaping.

Hello. Yestersday i was playing THE BAKER BROTHERS, 6 Bounties to collect. I was driving CAREFULLY but some of them could escape from the wagon, and i had to run and recapture them! So frustating! And this happened many times during mission. And ALL of the bounties, were lassoed!
The question no one ever answered is this. (I have never tried it cause did not want to lose bounties...it's hard work solo). Can I, after putting bounties in, dismiss wagon -like hunting wagon - ride back to destination fast on my horse, call in wagon again and deliver??? Or not (my guess)
Dragging a bounty will eventually kill them. That’s not the tough part though. They get knocked out when being dragged and usually when that happens your lasso lets go of them. Then you can’t lasso them again unless you kill them. You also can’t lasso a target once it’s been hogtied.
Here are a few little tips for everyone. Every time you hit a black screen while bounty hunting, don’t bother trying to wait out the time for getting paid more. Unless you just want the extra gold. If you stumble across a target that is invincible and won’t move, even if you dynamite them and they just get back up and walk and stand where they were at again, just trample them w your horse. It’ll take a couple tries but you can get them out of it by doing so. Will it kill them? Probably, but you get paid more (and paid period) for a dead bounty than an escaped bounty
I love being a bounty hunter, I have the wagon, just at a point now where they are too difficult for just 1 person and I can't seem to get anyone to join my posse and do as a group.
I would never call the wagon before starting a bounty. Ride your horse to the bounty, hog tie them all have someone watching them while you then call your wagon. That way while you are battling at least your horse is on hand to begin with in case you need to switch guns.
tbh moonshine atm is easiest and fastest way to get money. If you want more money, you should definitely buy strong moonshine instead. You will earn 250$ each hour for 3-star recipe and 220$ for 2star recipe. If you buy alcohol or whatever it's called for 30$ each time (discount from 1 bootlegger mission) you'll get clean +190 - 220$ every hour. You can also do some bounties while waiting also and easily compensate those 30$ quick
I was so frustrated. I had a 6 target bounty, had them all tied up, but for some reason the bounty wagon did not spawn when I called it. Said the stables were busy. That way I lost the whole bounty
Especially easy buy if you get it this week with the discount. It may not work for every bounty hunt but if you want multiple live deliveries from one poster then is there another way if you're not in a Posse?

This doesn't actually work as you cannot put a bounty on the back of a stolen horse. This was my first instinct as well.

On time I was doing difficulty 5 red ben and I had all the targets alive and hogtied, AND I ACCUDENTALLY RAN THEM OVER

Trying to grind bounties is hard when you keep getting kicked out of your lobby because of an error
Just grind the level 5 legendary bounty because you still get role XP for doing that. I leveled from 4 to 20 in less than 2 days

Your bounty can be turned loose from the bounty wagon by other bounties. Learned this the hard way on the owl hoots family.

that just happened to me today the bounty just vanish if they are on horse one second your right on them and they just vanish and move farther away.
You don’t have to dismiss your horse. Just call the wagon after you dismount your horse and your horse will depart.
I guarantee that other players will leave the session so you won’t turn them in for the bounty

me and my friend brought in 6 people alive without a bounty wagon, we knocked them all out and made it amazingly

You can drag second bounty slowly with your lasso without killing it
Also knock them out first and they survive being dragged (usually takes 5 or 6 kicks to the head)

I bounty hunt solo. The targets often flee. Is that due to non stealth approach or do they always flee once the fighting starts? If they flee and I have the wagon out they’re escape, right?
It depends on the bounty, some of them run away others don't but if you aren't noticed then they won't run away

I found that if you take a bounty and it loads you into the map again, its not gonna give you xp. If it doesnt load in then its all good and youll get all the rewards. Also, if it does glitch Ive found that the gold they do give you is usually more than they usually give you so it might be good for racking up gold atleast.
hey bro also I found out if you're doing a bounty and it goes to a black screen go ahead go to another free room you'll start in the same area pick the bounty up off the wall and then wait in that spot and it should work every time it's been working wonders for me. ONE LOVE !

i’m pretty sure this only works with 2 bounty targets but you can put a target on your horse and another on an enemy horse
When you said it's quiet rare for a player to have a twenty dollar bounty I felt horrible for having one

I managed to drag a 2nd bounty target all the way to the sheriff office without killing it. All that happened was that the mission finished when I turned in the 1st guy, and the game said I'd delivered 1 alive and missed 1.

When it comes to the lasso, I’ve experienced so many times the bounty target escaping from the lasso and giving me so much trouble and some times losing the money, so I just knock them out or kicking them without killing them ofc that way they don’t scape and I’m able to finish the mission
there is less chance of them escaping if you use reinforced lasso
you can also kick them so they have to restart

What i'd like to know is, how do you get rid of your targets left in the bounty waggon when the time runs out? I can't call my horse at all till the targets are out of the waggon and there is no option to pull them out of the waggon from the rear door.
I've tried about 5 bounties & only succeeded in two (by killing them) - usually they run away & I can't find them. I guess I'm just not good enough on my own but I'll keep trying.

Are you doing multiple-person bounties?
The reward only has to do with how long you wait before closing out the bounty. If you're a posse memeber, youp get half the reward compared to the posse leader.
Apparently there is a fix for the bounties and the xp. When you go to a bounty board, press accept and then don’t touch the controller at all. If the screen goes black after accepting the bounty, you won’t get the xp and that seems to happen when you move immediately after accepting the bounty. Whereas if you don’t touch the controller and you don’t get a black screen, you will receive the xp. Apparently, not touching the controller for at least five seconds works. This is an official response from Rockstar support. Give it a try.

I get the black screen 80% of the time and still get my bounty xp , not sure that is what causes it. The black screen means you're going to be in a lobby alone.

@@BBbizzle never happened to me, I've leveled bounty hunter up to 20 entirely solo, had finished lots of missions where I had to capture 4-6 bounties. For 6 bounties it takes me around 6-8 minutes to put them all into wagon, nobody escaped from the wagon within this time while the others on the ground managed to free from reinforced lasso (obviously I was not on the wagon because I was carrying targets). I've never used wagon that much for legendary bounties except 1 mission tho, owlhoot family, because other missions don't even have multiple targets, but they still didn't escape wagon while I was taking my time and looting all the guards. The OP most probably is just bs'ing, they only escape if the horse dies (means the wagon is destroyed) and you'll get a notification that the wagon is destroyed, targets are now escaping.

Edit Dec 8th 2020: contrary to what I said, im referencing a time whereby I had to perform a thousand point turn, bc of trees, in bayou nwa with 8 bounties inside, and was bashing the wagon so they might've escaped bc it was damaged

You can also run over pretty much anything except some other wagons. It’s very fun to run over npcs during a bounty since you don’t get wanted
Hello. Yestersday i was playing THE BAKER BROTHERS, 6 Bounties to collect. I was driving CAREFULLY but some of them could escape from the wagon, and i had to run and recapture them! So frustating! And this happened many times during mission. And ALL of the bounties, were lassoed!
The question no one ever answered is this. (I have never tried it cause did not want to lose bounties...it's hard work solo). Can I, after putting bounties in, dismiss wagon -like hunting wagon - ride back to destination fast on my horse, call in wagon again and deliver??? Or not (my guess)
Dragging a bounty will eventually kill them. That’s not the tough part though. They get knocked out when being dragged and usually when that happens your lasso lets go of them. Then you can’t lasso them again unless you kill them. You also can’t lasso a target once it’s been hogtied.
You don’t have to dismiss the horse it automatically does it on PlayStation 4
Here are a few little tips for everyone. Every time you hit a black screen while bounty hunting, don’t bother trying to wait out the time for getting paid more. Unless you just want the extra gold.
If you stumble across a target that is invincible and won’t move, even if you dynamite them and they just get back up and walk and stand where they were at again, just trample them w your horse. It’ll take a couple tries but you can get them out of it by doing so. Will it kill them? Probably, but you get paid more (and paid period) for a dead bounty than an escaped bounty

The glitch that will hopefully be fixed still exists to this day :(

I love being a bounty hunter, I have the wagon, just at a point now where they are too difficult for just 1 person and I can't seem to get anyone to join my posse and do as a group.

I would never call the wagon before starting a bounty. Ride your horse to the bounty, hog tie them all have someone watching them while you then call your wagon. That way while you are battling at least your horse is on hand to begin with in case you need to switch guns.

tbh moonshine atm is easiest and fastest way to get money. If you want more money, you should definitely buy strong moonshine instead. You will earn 250$ each hour for 3-star recipe and 220$ for 2star recipe. If you buy alcohol or whatever it's called for 30$ each time (discount from 1 bootlegger mission) you'll get clean +190 - 220$ every hour. You can also do some bounties while waiting also and easily compensate those 30$ quick

The wagon controls succ especially when u do trader missions they got destroyed very fast even with a small rock
I was so frustrated. I had a 6 target bounty, had them all tied up, but for some reason the bounty wagon did not spawn when I called it. Said the stables were busy. That way I lost the whole bounty
Yeah, did the same. It informed me my wagon was damaged! I even bought bloody insurance on the day on the day i9 bought it. Still a very buggy game!

2:00 actually I was able to call for my wagon right next to my horse it just fled on its own
You don't have to dissmiss the horse first just get off of it and take the bounty off
Especially easy buy if you get it this week with the discount. It may not work for every bounty hunt but if you want multiple live deliveries from one poster then is there another way if you're not in a Posse?
