Hi, If you're new here my husband and I have a 15 month old daughter named Brynn and we are also licensed foster parents. We got licensed shortly after getting married and have had one placement (before our daughter was born). We have been waiting for a placement call since we put our name back on the call list 7 months ago.

You mentioned that you couldn't be a borrowed bed...is that what you said?...If so...what does that mean?

A borrowed bed is when you get a placement from another county. Essentially the other county is borrowing one of your county’s ‘beds’ because they don’t have a family available to take the placement in their own county 😊

We never got a call that ended up turning into a placement for the 7 months we had our name back on the list and now we are currently taking a break because I’m due with our second baby in September :)
