My love for Kenny is mad used to listen to tapes of him in awol dreamscape etc then he came over to Wales and played sets in Cardiff and Swansea and one of the only djs that I saw that would have a massive grin as the crowd erupted he took personal enjoyment that his tunes were doing the business I am mid forties and all I can say is salute and big up Kenny you always have a place in my heart pure fire

Yeah,not only his mixing skills but his infectious grin & his pure enjoyment. Made the crowd feed off him & Kenny feed off the crowds vibes,on & on through his set. Always went off when Kenny stepped up & dropped his 1st tune,some of my most memorable from back in the day was when he'd drop Superman as his 1st tune epic.

Remember 93 he played at quest Wolverhampton, I got the tape pack. Highlight was mc lenni going bezerk when kenny dropped a dirty ragga tune (as we called em back then) "Ehhhhh rewind! NO! no no no no!!!! Ey! kenny rewind that bloodclaart choon!!". Dunno what was going on backstage but there was lots of erm, enthusiasm 😆 lol
