Thank you so much for this! I have been looking up information on this for the last hour and this has been so very helpful. Finally, I have a badges page ready!
So great! Thank you! One little issue: after i have created my badge with canva, i try to replace it in my google sheet "badge image url" and it doesn't change the image on flippity badge results page! Help!
Where are you placing the images so that you create a URL for them? I added mine to my website media collection, then used the URLs that created for that element.
Great video, thanks! I'm unsure how to get my badges as large as yours though, as they are currently hard to see for me. I know Flippity defaults them to 100 pxls, but even when I edit them in G Drawings and make them larger they are still barely readable on the Flippity page.. Any suggestions?
Hmm, I don't know what you might need to do differently. My badges were automatically the same size as the ones I saw in the demo. I didn't make any changes to the settings. I didn't even notice the pxls number. I just used the Instagram post size for my canvas, added the images to my website, and then linked them to the spreadsheet. Sorry I can't help with this issue!
First I downloaded the badges as image files. Then I added the image files to my website's media library. That creates a URL for each image. I then added the URL links to the "Badge Link" row. You can see that row at 2:40 in the video.
@@EverEducating I also have a question about this: I am not great with tech, but I have created a badge in canva and downloaded the flippity template ... but I'm stuck at the part where you've said that you "added the image files to my websites media library." ummmm, I do not have a website. How do I otherwise create a url for my canva images? The instructions on flippity says not to store the image files in your google drive ... but like, that's all I know how to do, lol. Can you help?
So I create a chart for my students that they can access on the LMS. It shows how many of each badge type they have. I use Google Spreadsheets for this so it’s easy to update. But, you can save the badges as images and then send the badges to your students via the LMS or email.
How do you gamify your classroom?? WATCH NEXT: Here's the name generator tutorial, also using Flippity: th-cam.com/video/vqZfKA56o_I/w-d-xo.html

How do you add the Canva badges to the Flippity badge board?

Can I kinda send the badges to my students? How do they know what badges they earned?
