@@tomtransport i have a 1961 corvette that ive done a frame off restoration my self. 6 years almost done $55000.00 later. its insured for $80000.00 agreed value.its crazy how much it cost to have a car restored. they just keep going up in value. i could not afford paying two to three times what iv got into this car. alot of people are looking for investments that go up and they can enjoy.
@@davidmckibbin4440 I restored two when I was younger (i'm 81 now). A 1948 Buick Special fastback 4 door and a 1965 cadillac Convertible. I too did all the heat/AC, cassis, electrical, paint and body work myself. I did not do the interior (carpeting, door panels, seats, convertible top). I was service manager at a Lincoln, Mercury, mercedes Benz dealership for 25 years so I got a good price on that sublet work. I just did it because I could and had the skills to do it. I only have the picture albums now. It was fun, I enjoyed the rides too. I tired of them and sold them to good homes. Did I get every dollar (my hours of labor ,etc,) I had in them? Hell no, but it was all good fun.😀😀I say a restoration is never really "done", there is always one more thing somewhere on that ride you could make better or tweek. Just comes a time where you say, "this suits me fine". Enjoy your 61 Vette. 😄😄
in this condition, the '50s cars are works of art. nuttin is like the '50s cars. at these prices, tho, likely the buyer will have nothing for upside in value. shocking prices.
Interesting how people slam the vlogger over the prices of "his" cars. Guys, the cars don't belong to him, he's only there to video them for our enjoyment. While I agree the prices are high, don't shoot the messenger!
I am a multimillionaire, and I could write you a check for $300,000 for any car on your lot. However, the prices on your vehicles are for billionaires who a more conservative than me. It looks like you are going to have a museum with the coming depression.
These are all beautiful cars, but not for the average Joe. With these prices, they must not be selling many cars. Don't they have cars for sale in the $10 to 20K price range that people can afford?
