Thats got to be the Next-gen RC car, you're practically racing it straight outta the box! Nice looking 917 Porsche clone with working fan and spare wheel to keep weight on the rear wheels! The headlights make it -look cool- easy to see in the twilight too!

I've been watching all the ak917 videos on youtube since youtuber's been getting the car. Everyone is breaking the wheel hubs when they crash. The car also doesnt seem to have enough downforce or grip when it gets up to speed as many videos show it skidding and then crashing.
Yeah the hubs are available in alloy on their website and regarding the downforce it is there but need to drive it with both hands and less than 6s i guess i went more than the limit for testing
Yeah on all the videos everyone is sliding around around 75mph and crashing without it being driver error. I think this is why the cars haven’t shipped out yet. Because they were supposed to ship around the 20th of this month but haven’t yet. I’m good if mine doesn’t ship until they get things fixed on these.

it for sure needs a rear spoiler or even a large wing to keep it straight
yep common crash over 100ks with this model and wheel hub broken but hey great driving and 122km no complaining here as all is fixable.
Yep thanks also I ordered all the spare parts for it and extra alloys , i was driving with one hand 😅 the other hand filming steering with my chin 😂
I wonder if installing a gyro might help with controlling this car ? Thoughts?

We just tried the AK today and it was terrible same problem as you 110kph and over and won't stay straight. Sideways every time.
Make sure the tires you used are not touching any thing specially the rear wing once you press on the rear push it down with hand and see of the wing is touching the wheel that was my case

My buddy did 105km/h on 2S and it wasnt even a full run (road was to short) Otherwise it would be around 115km/h-120km/h on 2S! (motor/esc wasnt stock offcourse)
I would buy a Dumborc 6ch radio and receiver for best results, I've gone over 600m in one direction without issue.
Me too 500 meter range no issues at all
@@UAERCADDICTS I bought a new radiolink rc6gs 7 ch and lost connection and destroyed my redcat rampage Exb around 400 meters, not happy.
Radio link antennas are good for around 300meter for more than that signal booster like hobbywing must be installed

@@WoodsUnknown in good weather conditions with low humidity it could reach that but you need to be aware of the area you will run at avoid big electric obstacles or underground cables effects reception
wltys 1/12 scale on 3s goes beyond 200 kph. It is common with rllaarlo ak series to crash. There myt be some explanation why. try running it without the body shell.
