Beautiful girl Dave 😊I love this genus they always remind me of the beefeaters at the Palace when they stick that butt up in the air 😂 great vid as always Dave, Camera Lady really enjoyed this 😊❤
The carapace pattern is show stopping. The purple on the legs just glows! Your spiders are always in such wonderful trim. Thank you both for another rehousing video
She’s absolutely gorgeous! I can’t believe how terrified of spiders I used to be, and now I find them so beautiful and fascinating. Watching and learning really helped me get over my fear, and I have to thank you Dave and Camera Lady for creating these videos, as it’s your content that has enabled me to be less frightened and more in awe! ☺️❤️
Wow, an absolutely beautiful spider I could stare at her for hours, she seems very large or maybe my morning brain isn’t switched on yet! Purple is my favourite colour, I will definitely not be getting one of these spiders so I will look at yours and admire her from afar! ❤❤❤
Great video mr. Dave! Just gotnout if the hospital and i binge watched you and canera ladys work from the old beastie room days and got me through being in the hospital about to lose my leg ! Took my mind off it! I havnt lost it yet but your work kept my mind busy so thank you! Much love from the usa!
If you do havr to lose it, just please dont wait too long. My step sister just passed away from gane greene in her internals. That spread from her thigh. Ill be praying for you.
@daveslittlebeasties trying to be! At home with a wound vac and picc line giving myself antibiotics thru iv every 6 hours but your vids kept my mind off everything so I truely appreciate your vids and appreciate you taking the time to respond back to me most yt channels don't do that so thank you !
@wakingforbacon6439 thank you! The infection got to the bone from a ulcer on my foot fro.na condition I have called charcot arthropathy but hopefully the antibiotics and the wound vac will get it out of my body and allow me to heal so I don't end up losing my leg! Thank you for the prayers! Have a happy Thanksgiving if you celebrate it that is!
Hello Dave and Camera Lady and hello to the hobby. Oh my 😮what a gorgeous creature! Second beauty this week! Those purple legs, those sunset stripes on her carapace, that just out of bed hairdo on her abdomen…😂. She really is a stunner and big! We do like our big spiders. Is there a lot of sexual dimorphism with this breed? More purple babies! Yay!! Anyhoo, I hope this finds all of you well and preparing for the holidays. Take care of yourselves. Love from Texas!🩷💛❤️🧡
What a gorgeous girl!!!!! 💜💜💜💜. I like the enclosure arrangement and I think she will do well with a little more room. I look forward to a pairing video and how she handles motherhood!
In my opinion one of the most beautiful tarantulas. A friend of mine has an X. immanis female and she usually is very chill. I am glad that I found your channel. 👍 Unfortunately not all keepers treat their spiders well, I've seen so much crap on the internet.
Great video. I gotta tell you, just about the time I think I've found my fav spider, you go and bring another gorgeous baby to adore. I love them all... Thanks guys. 💋🕷️🕸️🕷️💋
Hey Dave! What a lovely video! Such a stunning spider!! That carapace is just something else man. And it even goes to the base of the front legs, so cool looking. It amazes me how some tarantulas are so colourful. One of my favourite Tarantulas, H.Pulchripes, is so stunning with that blue on its legs. Think we can see that species soon again on the channel soon Dave? Hope the Q&A is coming soon! Much love from Ontario, Canada. Have a good weekend and we’ll see you on Monday.
I have an adult female intermedia, that i plan to breed. This video was so interesting, because I've found mine likes it warmer and more damp (75 f and 65-75%) than my other Ts. I can't wait to see your eventual breeding videos with her.
Gorgeous. I got a young female in Coventry and she had kicked a fair bit of hair because of the travel. She’s in pre-molt now and I can’t wait to see her afterwards.
Hi Dave She is very pretty. The color of her carapace is amazing. She is a good size. Those catch cups come in handy. Very nice enclosure. Excellent view camera lady. I hope that you can find a male for her. Cindy USA
Hi Dave & Camera lady got back into the hobbie again thanks to your channel, couldn't resist Juvenile OBT RCF,its kept in alarge sweet jar with the appreciate ventilation the only heat it gets is next to the crested Gecko heat mat a bit ot substrate on the bottom fake plant and a piece of bark no water dish gets sprayed on side of the tank every 2 weeks feed one cricket every two weeks and its thrieving.
I've seen videos of this species before and I found it fascinating that it's the male for this species that's the more colorful rather than the female.
Absolutely brilliant Dave, and that's a stunning species of spider 🕷 without a doubt, I hope you manage to get a male, it's much better to get captive bred spiders 🕷, anyway Dave another super job by yourself and camera 📷 lady Dave.
Hey Dave? Have you ever seen a B. Smithi get up to the size of 8 1/2 plus inches?? I got a young female, that is abnormally huge. I was told that they don't get dinner plate size? I would love to show you! She's a giant plus! I love your show!
She's a big girl, and not yet fully grown. The purple is magnificent, and I love the way those white hairs on her abdomen are arranged in a kind of scruffy manner. It reminds us that she may be beautiful, but best not to mess. Thanks, guys for another great show. Still the best T platform for me 👌 and how's the room coming along?
Lovely spiders. My female is currently paired up. One thing I might note mate. I have always know the common name for these to be the "Colombian lesserblack" and Pampheobeteus Sp. Machala to be the "Purple Bloom". This is why common names are not great. 😉
another fine interesting spider with a new house PROFF. how easy was that transfer. some great information to help the hobby. some great footage CAMERA LADY. well PROFF i think you should try a pairing with her. many thanks guys and take care
Great video and lovely specimen you have there. Was wondering how your Nephila are doing? Would you be able to provide a small update in your next video please? Thanks and keep up the great work! I'm thinking about getting back into the hobby. Would love to get some avicularia species to start off with.
Hey Dave, first of all…. a big thank you from Copenhagen, Denmark for sharing your great knowledge with all of us on your chanel. I have one big wish for a possible future videosubject. In one of your videos you talked about heating and a solution where you can keep your enclosures in a closet, as far as I recall, to insulate the heating inside the closet so you dont need to warm up the whole room. I live in a smaller appartment and have around 15 enclosures plus some some plastic boxes. But I need inspiration for a a good and smart solution for rebuilding a glass closet, or something like that, so I can heat up my collection of spiders and scorpions without heating up my whole living room. It would be a great inspiration and help to hear your thoughts on that. 🙏🤞
I had to search you up today, dave, and you're my favourite channel. I don't understand that so sorry I'm late ha ha sure will be great video as always just thought I'd let you know incase no one else can find you bloody algorithm 😮😊
I love the video, your Xenesthis Immanis is gorgeous. I hope to get one myself also I was wondering when is the next feeding frenzy video? I love them.
These T’s are all really pretty. I’ve got an X. intermedia female in my collection. Super pretty, I just wish I could actually see her more often. She’s always in her burrow though, so it’s a nice glass box of dirt most of the time. Any suggestions to see her more? Thanks for all the videos Dave! I always look forward to Monday and Thursday
Hey Dave, nice video ! I have a question you may answer, maybe. What is the difference between Immanis & Intermedia ? I got an Intermedia, sling in 2020, juste molted for the 6th time, 20 cm length and very similar in appearance with your pet. Maybe a little more black, and more pink in cephalothorax. Thank you !
The channel General Apathy just released a video where he found this genus in the wild in Columbia, like just a few hours ago. Weird coincidence. Worth checking out. Maybe even this exact species, I think. He finds a lot of cool Ts and other inverts in the jungle and in deserts, usually the jungle.
Hello Dave and Camera Lady. Love this spider. Reminds me of the Pamphobeteus spiders. I literally just lost my Pamphobeteus Manga Negra mature male. He matured almost 3.5 years ago and only just passed. He was gorgeous, purple and black legs, beautiful bronze carapace and a brown/ black abdomen. I thought they might be similar in character, but he would give flight not bite 😅 thankfully. Actually, if i can ask a question, he has a really nice enclosure, would it be ok to put another spider in there, or should I empty it and clean it ? It is a bio active enclosure. Kindest regards, Joanne 🐺
It's the breed of spider usually. Use top opening enclosures wirh fasorial spiders. And front door openkng ones with arboreal. Cant harsly put enough substrate for fasorial spiders with a front door opening enclosure.
Also check out either Spencer hoffmans channel or jacks world of wildlife! One of those 2 guys went on a trip and caught a wild one for one of there videos! Believe it was a male if i remember correctly! I think they also live in mountainside type habitats ehich is why they require the cooler temps and humidity even tho they are in a jungle! Check it out its a good video maybe you will get some ideas or something
@daveslittlebeasties if we have a free time to wait and see the sling eat is it fine to keep them in a adult enclosure? or is there any other concern beside feeding? (he really terrified of the idea to move an adult tarantula)
Hey Dave! I have this species! I have about 4-5 inches of substrate in mine and she dug all the way to the bottom and never comes out 😭 do they not need that much substrate?
Apologies if this is mentioned in the video, I’m not going to watch until tomorrow when I’m fully awake🤣 But I have a Xenesthis Immanis and was told it was a ‘Colombian lesserblack’, and that the Pamphobeteus Machala was ‘purple bloom’. I’m assuming this is just another case of common names being used for multiple species causing confusion😫😅
Your videos always brighten my day! Lifes been hard as of late, but these videos are like a warm hug! Awesome work dave and camera lady!
So glad your enjoying them ❤❤❤
Absolutely loved visiting the beastie room, and this girl was so beautiful, the camera doesn’t do her justice
Your always welcome 🙏
Beautiful girl Dave 😊I love this genus they always remind me of the beefeaters at the Palace when they stick that butt up in the air 😂 great vid as always Dave, Camera Lady really enjoyed this 😊❤

She is too cool! Hope to see more of her in the new digs. We didn't get to see her speed, but that is probably a good thing. Peace.
This girl is so beautiful!!! It looks like something out of a fairytale!! Awesome footage camera lady!! Love how Dave is so gentle with the spiders.
Thank you so much! ❤️
What a striking carapace! Pretty in pink, that one. It's always good to hear both of your familiar voices. 💕🕸🕷💕

stunning spider Dave, I can confirm they ain't scared to stand their ground if upset or at least mine isn't anyway 😂

He found two of these and another called the naked leg spider lol, can't remember the scientific name
Very nice tarantula sir Dave, have you tried breeding this species I read is one of the difficult to breed?
slings are extremely expensive

Should be fine , remove any old webbing be a shame to destroy it
@daveslittlebeasties thank you so much for replying. I felt the same. Now I have to decide, who gets the nice upgrade 😊 kindest regards, Joanne 🐺
Some of your glass enclosures have a front door opening & many like this, have a top opening…is there a preference or is it by the breed of spider?😊
It's the breed of spider usually. Use top opening enclosures wirh fasorial spiders. And front door openkng ones with arboreal. Cant harsly put enough substrate for fasorial spiders with a front door opening enclosure.

I asked a question on another video if tarantulas were blind or if they had poor vision....are thay?
No we think they can see shades but probably dont see detail like we do , they are more sensory beasts 👍
Dave, why we can't put sling in a adult enclosure? (asking for a friend who afraid moving his tarantula 😁)
Because it’s easier to feed them in a smaller enclosure to ensure they are feeding
@daveslittlebeasties if we have a free time to wait and see the sling eat is it fine to keep them in a adult enclosure? or is there any other concern beside feeding? (he really terrified of the idea to move an adult tarantula)
I never see you put springtails in Dave? Is this through choice or just never filmed?!
I do have them but think they are very overrated 😂
Hey Dave! I have this species! I have about 4-5 inches of substrate in mine and she dug all the way to the bottom and never comes out 😭 do they not need that much substrate?
Not so long as she feels comfortable and secure ❤

Yes it is , thats why its important to learn the Latin names 👍
Easy peasy, you look like you’ve done that before😂😂
It would be cool if there was a way to cross that with a pink toe
Not a good idea to hybridise
