    I'm new at acrylics and so far I'm loving vallejo products. I bought a collection of book guides to help me.

    I have most of the colours in 71.213 Wheels & Tracks set & they work great for the intended task. As of late, I have been using 73.821 Rust Texture as the base colour for tank tracks as it adds a bit of texture for pigments to hold on to during the later stages stages of weathering as well a give the same dark brown colour assosated with old tanks tracks. I all so use 76.523 European Dust as a pin wash to similate the build up of dust around tanks susspention & joints on the hull, but the effect is lost when I add the pigments for dust, leaving a bland monotone colour instead of the cormatic richness intended, how can I correct the issue?

      Hello Pirate Penguin! It is important to ensure that the washes are completely dry before applying dry pigment. Any moisture can cause the pigment to change its consistency. Additionally, make sure to use a contrasting color, as using a very similar one could make it difficult to notice any changes :)

      @@vallejocolors Thank you for your feedback, which pigment would best compliment 76.523 European Dust? I have 73.104 Light Sienna, 73.105 Natural Sienna & 73.106 Burnt Sienna which I use for dust affects.

    In this context, are washes and filters achieved with the same Vallejo products (washes)?

    Hello, What product are you using for the "Filter"? (Model Wash? is it mixed with water or medium or straight out of the bottle?). Your reply is welcomed.

      You can use the color you like the most and thin them enough to get a "transparent" finish for your models. Anyway, our Model Washes are already formulated to save you this process so you can use them straight from the bottle :)

    Vallejo = AMORE.
    Love the Product.
    Love the Customer Support
    Love the videos. Vallejo is just an amazing brand.
    In future, if you could show the bottles or part numbers of the products you are using, would be beneficial. Typically Vallejo does this very well.

    This is the best video at supplying basically useless info. Started out great with the bottles in view, then really went South in the 2nd half with no descriptions at all...
