I don't play rust. I did when it first came out like two years ago. It sucked so I haven't been back. But people hate on you because they want to be you and don't have the skills. well not better, a base with those resorses 8 times bigger would ba a easy raid, witch is a bad base, if its looted eastly.

Unless you split the loot room evenly on a bigger base, it's really not worth the effort to build a big one. Yes they have more places to look, but that's playing odds. This base is better because it's consistent, unlike a large "tricky" base wherein if they get lucky, they can easily get to your loot room.
Bigger bases also attract more attention that compact and small ones, and bigger usually means more foundation and less elevation. This would mean that for someone to get a good look at your base, they can easily guess which one's the loot room.

Tip: I find the sound volume in this vid a tad low. Got both chrome & rust volume maxed out and nearly can't hear what's being said in the video :)

That's a quite old trick, more than a year old. I think the first use of it was to stack 4-5 doors on one foundation, back when doors where quite weaker than the walls. I don't think it will be "fixed" anytime soon. Problem is in Vanilla servers it is quite demanding resource-wise, plus you spend a lot of time out in the open and are a nice target if u don't have team members covering u. Still, if u have the time and materials to spare, it does a good job in tanking up your base. Important note here is that according to the game mechanics that are in use today, rockets will do splash damage and wont protect quite as much as opposed vs. c4
if it helps. I saw the reddit post and subbed to you and then waited until this video came up. This channel is good, dont be disheartened by the reddit community its largely cancer as far as rust is concerned.

Your building is really good but it is really hard to raid already so basically people are just mad that you are even making harder to raid and it really isn't the way bases are supposed to be built so obv people are going to get angry. Keep on building

Why does he make things, then delete them, Like for instance, all those triangle blocks in the beginning, I just don't understand it. He did the same thing on that op multi-level base he made, like before he started with the levels he built outwards then just deleted it, built it again, then deleted it, then built it another time, and then finally stopped with it. I just don't understand, Does it make your building range further? I don't play Rust so an explanation would cure my confusion
Im kinda getting it, like you can put a wall where it won't let you, but why so far out? Why in the other base he made? why even at all? there must be an easier way, Well I guess if there was, he would just do that instead.
