I will say this, Raymond could not have ran a gang without having some skills and heart. I think the statement that Raymond was always by himself speaks volumes. He could handle himself. As for the notion that I have read on hear of him leading younger dudes, that is just the natural order of life. Everyone who got down, I don't care what city/state had a homie that looked out, in their own misguided ways thought they were helping you out. When I was 13/14 I was trying to jump in the car with the older guys, by the time I was 18/19 I was trying to make money with the older guys....it is normal.
